25.01.2022 There is an Ayurvedic sutra (verse) that says everyone should eat fresh ginger just before lunch and dinner to enhance digestion. Because of its pungent taste, ginger increases jathara agni (digestive power). In Ayurveda, ginger is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as arthritis as well as nausea and fever. Try sauteing some grated ginger in a tablespoon of ghee and add to warm milk, adding sweetener if you like. Or let us know what is your favourite way to consume ginger??

24.01.2022 SLOW DOWN!!! - constant reminding of this is so necessary in our society, especially as we move into Autumn where the body starts to slow down in order to nourish. Set yourself reminders on your phone and set an intention to slow down all your daily activities. Slow down in the shower, slow down at work, slow down driving, slow down cooking and slow down eating. Your body will thank you for it

14.01.2022 Ayurveda is often called the science of life, in fact this is what Ayurveda actually means. The study of or awareness of everything that makes up your life. Have you ever stopped to think about your total reliance on nature for your survival? Our food, air, water and sunlight all come from nature even our clothing and the roof over our heads , are mostly made from natural materials. So we are intimately connected to the natural world, every moment of every day. Ayurveda call...s us to deeply look into this, that we humans are a small but important piece of the incredibly vast and intricate universe we find ourselves in. The more we try to separate ourselves from it through the gradual destruction of our precious earth and the ambivalent attitude towards it, the deeper the crisis becomes for nature as well as our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Of course the opposite is true, by discovering new ways to live in harmony with nature and opening our hearts in Graditude for all that Mother Nature provides us, the closer we move to our own true nature and the whole world benefits. 10.01.2022 This raw foodie recommends 99% of the population should NOT be on a raw food diet. Ayurveda recommends cooked food to make it easier for the body to absorb nutrients. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITLU51fsQ8M
