24.01.2022 I was down at Port Willunga Beach the other day for a special job and had a bit of time to spare in and around waiting for it to unfold, anyway i spent a little... time just sitting down at the beach, watching, looking, absorbing the atmosphere and scenery of that particular moment and was amazed at what i found. I captured all these images in the space of 2 hours. It just goes to show if you just sit back and relax, forget about everything and just let yourself live in the moment, how many amazing and wonderful moments happen everyday that pass by and we dont even notice them. See more

23.01.2022 I finally found a bit of time to get back in the water again with a camera, although not very inspiring conditions i was still very happy to come home and find these images when i downloaded the days pics. Hope you enjoy.

23.01.2022 Some Images i took today at the South Oz event of the Australian Boardriders Battle. An Awesome day with great waves and great atmosphere. Congrats to Seaford Boardriders for taking it out, all the clubs, surfers, organizers and spectators for creating a spectacular day at the beach.

22.01.2022 As a surfer of almost 30 years i am constantly drawn to the ocean, always checking surf reports, weather conditions and forecasts, seeking out surfing travel de...stinations and aquatic locations for interesting photographic experiences, talking with surfers and being involved with anything or anyone that has anything to do with the ocean and oceanic environment. But i am constantly reminded how lucky we are to be living in a part of the world where we have so many amazing, contrasting, ever-changing and beautiful locations, moments and opportunities right at our doorstep. 19.01.2022 Took a few early minutes from work today to try and capture some of the action from the 15 metre swells recorded off the KI wave buoy today hitting our local coastline. So for all those who weren't lucky enough to check out what mother nature dealt up today heres a small taste! ;)

19.01.2022 During the freezing cold weather a few weeks ago i headed off to a more tropical location to escape the cold and everydayday life. What i discovered when i got there blew my mind, this is one of the most beautiful, relaxing, scenic, peaceful and amazing places i have ever been too. The people i met there were amazing and so chilled and relaxed. Massive shout out to all the staff at the Joyo's G-Land surf camp, especially Will and Harry from WHSUP photography at the camp who ...gave so freely of their time and knowledge, that also goes for all the other staff at the camp too. I have selected these images as my favourites and hope they show some of what the place is all about. I hope everyone enjoys and if ever going on a journey to this amazing part of the world be sure to head straight to Joyo's Surf camp, you won't be dissapointed. Yeeeew! See more

19.01.2022 Awesome effort on the weekend by all who attended the May Rally. Some great surfing and a terrific turn out in pretty crappy conditions saw Robbie the cadbury k...id take out the days event, a close 2nd went to late starting early finishing Rueben Adams, 3rd place was stitched up by Adam Brewin Barley and in 4th place the ever reliable Gary and the dog Haworth. Big shout outs to Rads, Brucey Greg, Hulio, Gaz Gordo and all the others who helped out with judging, dodging frisky hounds, sitting out antarctic blasts, fire duties and keeping things rolling on the day. Keep up the awesome work fellas and looking forward too scoring some good waves soon. Enjoy! ;) See more

18.01.2022 I was out Surfing a few weekends ago and saw some sweet waves starting to push through down the beach. So i paddled down there for a few and couldnt believe how good it looked, so quickly went in, ran up the beach, grabbed my camera, ran back down the beach, swam out just in time to capture this sequence and wouldn't you know it! after i managed to capture this one wave the surf turned to crap! Gotta love Victor lol

18.01.2022 When I wake to a still, clear morning first thoughts are usually "I wonder how the ocean looks today" Perfect but chilly conditions greeted me this morning and was a refreshing and great start to the day. Hmmmmm! wonder what its looking like now? ;)

18.01.2022 Ok all, It has been a long time since i've been back in the water with my kit, mostly due to bad timing, a hectic schedule and a lack of favourable conditions. But the lure of crystal clear waters, sunny skies and a break from work were all i needed. Hope you all enjoy and look forward to posting more often soon :)

15.01.2022 One of my recent pics i've been doing a little work with :)

15.01.2022 I decided to hit the water with one of my photog rigs late this arvo instead of getting out there on my board. I was watching the lighting and cloud cover most of the day hoping it would stick around and coincide with the high tide, glassy conditions and small peaky swell. It did all of this and more!! And thanks to some of the local fellas on there SUPS providing great focal points i managed to capture some of the moments that make this coast so special. Hope you enjoy ;)

14.01.2022 Got home from work with a bit of a storm brewing this arvo, thought i'd head down to Porties with a water housing to capture some of the glassy conditions, flukey lighting and a little bit of swell rolling in straight up onto the beach. Here's a little sample of what i got :)

14.01.2022 Surf photos from the water at Gland. As always the hardest decision to make being a surfer and surf photographer is when to go for a surf and when to take photo's. Unfortunately or fortunately. on this trip i sustained some injuries to my feet which made the decision slightly easier for me although it was still painful watching perfect waves pass by. If you see a friend or even yourself feel free to tag or comment and most of all enjoy.

14.01.2022 Relaxing on the beach when not in the water i enjoyed watching the antics of the local monkeys. They would be into everything including the Bintangs, if it was left alone for more than a few seconds.

13.01.2022 I love heading down the beach on a day when theres a little swell, not quite enough to get out there for a surf but enough to jump in the water with my camera and try catching some of the miniature waves that as riders of waves we look at thinking how perfect, if only it was bigger and how quickly these miniature versions of what we love to ride pass by, looking at them for a micro second and wanting to freeze that moment so we can just study it just a little bit longer and appreciate what we have just witnessed. These waves like all waves are never the same as others and each offers its own final salute to the ocean where it came from, only to never return again but leaving an ever lasting minute sense of awe and appreciation in the mind of the lucky person who witnessed it.

Still some great action out in the waves and always a pleasure to get out there and float around amongst it :)

11.01.2022 After watching all the craziness happening on the swell charts over the last week i decided that Tuesday 24/6/14 was the pic of the days to have an RDO and get down to Myponga for a session. Unfortunately or fortunately the wind didn't hold up to combine with the groundswell to create the epic conditions i was hoping for. So after an ordinary surf out came the DSLR and i set about capturing some of the spectacular scenery and many moods this tiny little beach cove has to offer.

06.01.2022 Great to donate a little bit of my time to help out a great cause. Tricky conditions made it difficult for the surfers and a real challenge to get some decent shots from the water but everyone still made the most of the conditions and had a great time which was great to see. A great day with lots of smiles and a top effort to KWIVA for raising much needed funds for the Surfaid Phillipines appeal. Congrats to all involved.

03.01.2022 I was lucky enough yesterday to catch a jet ski ride out with a great mate to a few local islands where i had the amazing experience of swimming with the dogs o...f the sea, witnessing their playful antics and a slightly frisky and protective larger male that i'm sure was giving me a little stink eye! The crystal clear water and flat ocean conditions were perfect for capturing these critters in their beautiful natural environment. See more
