23.01.2022 All this mask-wearing in Melbourne has made some people realise that their breath is not as fresh as they think! If you're concerned about your bad breath, but not sure what the cause is, come in for a quick check up and a clean. It might be all you need to freshen your breath and make mask wearing less of a problem.

We've been working really hard to contact all our lovely patients to book you back in after all the disruptions with COVID. BUT ......! First we wanted to let you in on our celebrations this week as AZUBEL DENTAL TURNED 10! ... While it can never replace the advice given to you during your 6 monthly dental check up, it's a good way to increase your dental awareness. 14.01.2022 Are you a nervous patient and not sure why? Maybe you've never had a bad experience at the dentist, but the thought of visiting us still makes you cringe? We were talking about this with one of our fantastic patients, and we realised there are many reasons why you might be nervous. First, we ask you to lie down on your back, and keep your hands resting on your abdomen.... Then we shine a bright light in your eyes and ask you not to move your head. Next we ask you to open your mouth wide so not one, but usually two people can poke instruments into your mouth and your communication is then impeded. Feel familiar? So how do we try to put you at ease? Rodrigo repeatedly checks with you to see how you're feeling, and if there is anything he can do to make you more comfortable. The procedure is explained to you each step of the way, and you're always able to ask for breaks if it gets a bit much. There's a TV set up on the ceiling to distract you, and music playing in the background. You're also welcome to ask for a particular channel to be played Or maybe you'd prefer to bring headphones and listen to your own music or a podcast while lying down? Some people have been known to nap on the chair too!! Whatever your feelings about visiting the dentist, we want you to be as comfortable as possible, so please don't hesitate to let us know if you need something explained again, or if you need to stop for a moment or two. It's all part of the service
