22.01.2022 ARTIST TRAIL ( Part one, updated) There are 46 locations of artists in the Southern Highlands. The event is on two weekends with the final ones on the 9th and 10th November. Locations include places I did not know existed ;like Balaclava, Balmoral,Ashby Rise, Burradoo, Colo Vale and the familiar.Mittagong,Bowral,Robertson,Moss Vale, Bundanoon. Well worth the journey

16.01.2022 Wollongong is buzzing for the long weekend. There is a huge YOURS AND OWLS FESTIVAL ( just $215 per ticket) setting up in Stuart park and the summer hopefuls are in the water.The parachutists have to land in a narrow stretch of grass to avoid hitting the main temporary stage. There is even a Whale showing its black fin out of the water but impossible to photograph.

13.01.2022 THE ART TRAIL ( Part One) Just a short drive from Shell Cove to Robertson.The Southern Highlands is awash with art displays open to the public. First stop is THE SHAC in Robertson and a coffee at Urban Food Tribe.( creative and yummy) There are many talented artists on display. However for genuine copyright reasons photos are not allowed so let your imagination run riot

02.01.2022 SADDLEBACK MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE There are three routes to Saddleback Mountain from Shell Cove and they are all unspoilt and stunning.I chanced upon a herd of cows,in a deliberate detour, found the end of the road , walked in the enchanted forest of Saddleback and ate grapes,cherries,strawberries,homemade cake on the mountain top cooled by a sea breeze.
