25.01.2022 Latest guidelines as at 2nd August 2020 Funerals Up to 100 people can attend a funeral or memorial service or a gathering following a funeral or memorial service, subject to the 4 square metre rule.... Places of worship, funeral homes and crematoria must be registered as a COVID Safe business. Funerals at a private residence are limited by the 20 person visitor rule. Everyone must provide their name and contact details in case they're needed for contact tracing purposes. We will have automatic sanitiser stations available at each service.



24.01.2022 The relatives and friends of the Late DONALD EDWARD WORTHINGTON, known as Smokey, aged 93 years, Late of Condobolin, loved father of Wendy Jane Billington, Bruce Worthington and Richard Worthington are respectfully invited to attend his graveside service to be held at 3.30pm on Friday 11th September in the Lawn Portion of the Condobolin Cemetery. 15.01.2022 Following is information received by the FDA of NSW with regards to Covid-19 latest guidelines. Dear Funeral Directors Association of NSW As you may know, the Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 3) 2020 commenced on 1 June 2020... The Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 3) (the Order) allows funerals or memorial services with no more than 50 people in attendance, excluding the people necessary for the conduct of the service, for example: The funeral celebrant or minister of religion, and The funeral director. Records and exchanges of information The Order directs that the relevant person for the service or gathering must record the names and contact details, including telephone numbers and email addresses, of all persons at the service. A relevant person means: For a service or gathering held in an indoor space the occupier or operator of the premises, or For a service or gathering held in an outdoor space the person conducting the service. The person who is required to record information must: Keep the record for at least a period of 4 weeks and On request, provide the record to the Chief Health Officer. These directions are also applicable to gatherings immediately after a funeral or memorial service. Places of worship should have a COVID-19 Safety Plan to address wellbeing of staff and visitors, physical distancing, hygiene and cleaning and record keeping rules. 04.01.2022 Easing of restrictions from Friday 15 May After assessing the new framework from National Cabinet, the NSW Government has announced a further easing of restrictions from 15 May. This will allow more businesses to open and more people to stay in work. As NSW takes the next step, we need to keep up our high rates of testing, and continue to practise PHYSICAL DISTANCING and good handwashing hygiene. If you have even the mildest symptoms, you should stay at home.... From Friday 15 May, the following will be allowed in NSW: outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people cafes and restaurants can seat 10 patrons at any one time up to 5 visitors to a household at any one time weddings up to 10 guests INDOOR FUNERALS up to 20 mourners, OUTDOOR FUNERALS up to 30 religious gatherings/places of worship up to 10 worshippers use of outdoor equipment with caution outdoor pools open with restrictions. The NSW Government will closely monitor COVID-19 rates, especially community transmissions, and use this to guide the further easing of restrictions. Penalties for breaching orders Breach of orders made under the Public Health Act 2010 is a criminal offence and attracts heavy penalties. In the case of an individual, the maximum penalty is $11,000, or imprisonment for 6 months, or both and a further $5500 penalty may apply for each day the offence continues. The NSW Police may also issue on-the-spot fines of $1000 for an offence. In the case of any corporation, the maximum penalty is $55,000 and a further $27,500 penalty may apply for each day the offence continues.
