24.01.2022 So last friday morning , as you guys know I started sanding a deck and front entrance in Newtown before being rained off. So our deck and entrance, had been previously re- coated in some sort of yucky waterbased deck product. So it was basically impossible to identify my clients timber on quote day, So when we started sanding and realised that it was in fact tassie oak i was very exited to say the least! Woowee what stunning timber. Extremely rare to be used as decking... , but i reckon the builder had visions of internal floors and outside deck matching with joining entertainment areas. 24.01.2022 A few photos from a ripper in grovedale this week.. timber was merbua..

24.01.2022 This was a wash of about 190m2 of limestone that I washed and sealed a few weeks ago. Photos were limited sorry and of poor quality. It was a very careful and soft wash with quite of bit of research done too make sure the sealer would not only protect the limestone but also withstand the chemicals that are involved with having a healthy pool . Location Mt Dunneed.

23.01.2022 A merbua front entrance completed today. Off with all the old waterbased paint ( about 6 layers lol) and in with a quality natural oil that actually penetrates and protects the timber. Not only looks 100% better, but your investment is going to last year's longer. Mission accomplished with another happy client. Located Drysdale.

22.01.2022 This was a job I was called about last week, unfortunately during the concrete completion of the works there was quite a bit of acid spilt over a silver top ash deck... we had the problem solved for my client within a short time of our gear getting there. Happy days, happy clients.

21.01.2022 A merbua deck from yesterday that i thought was a fantastic result! Sometimes it's hard to pick up every bit of the old paint that was previously on it , an most times its near impossible to see it untill oil goes down again especially after waterbased products have been on and the timber has cupped and twisted a little. All ready to be enjoyed by family and friends for lots of laughs and entertainment. Located Lovely Banks.

18.01.2022 I was back to one of my fave clients today to Pivot Custom Homes. Another stunning home @ 29 Samphire drv connewarre ( 13th beach golf course). On the smaller side of there decks, but the workmanship and talent that go into these projects is mind blowing, i feel privileged to be on there team. I'm entrusted to rejuvenate everything back to A1 In this case hours before handover to the lucky client. I missed a before on one of the back decks but the after is in the trio........ 18.01.2022 Now this only happens a few times a year...a real diamond in the rough.. to rub back shitty waterbased product.. to find a Tasmainian Oak timber Deck !!! Best day ever! I had a storm dump a heap of rain on me before I could complete today, but here are some before and some prepped ready for oil. I cant wait to oil tommorow!

18.01.2022 This was a job from last week also. A client built his dream deck, then went down to one of the big chain stores and unfortunately got the wrong advice on what to apply to his timber for his climate and situation . I see this every week..... It is unfortunate but i can always fix it! So off with the peeling, cracking nasty waterbase and on with a qaulity natural oil that actually penetrates and protects the timber an more importantly your investment . Again, Queensland Spotted Gum and out at Bannockburn this time.

18.01.2022 A massive re-vamp for this stunning spotted gum deck for the start of this week . Approx 130m2. Was another fantastic result for a great family. Located Manifold Heights.

18.01.2022 Woowee where do I start! I would say its in the top 5 of trying to save a deck before replacement of all exsposed timber was needed. It was approx 180m2 of 8 year old silver top ash that had only been re coated once I think. The undercover stuff was still reasonable but anything exsposed was far from it. A solid week on it, with dad for 4 days also. And this is what we achieved. Located Bellbrae.

17.01.2022 Finally after starting this job early last week and then 4 days of rain, we finished the front today. Another blend of an existing front veranda and 2 new steps. I think it blended fantastic. Timber was merbua And located in beautiful Ocean Grove.

17.01.2022 Roughly 170m2 of stunning spotted gum that just needed a bday.. Heavily sanded, a buffed then 2x coats of premium natural oil. And now it's all stunning timber again easily managed with 1 coat of oil every 6 months. Located bannockburn.

17.01.2022 A little 50m2 deck this morning in waurn ponds. Came up fantastic, happy clients is the aim of my game. Merbua, with all the treatment. Heavily sanded , heavily buffed and the complimented with 2x coats of premium natural oil.

17.01.2022 I think this is honestly the biggest challenge i have been asked to transform. I thought alot about this deck and wondered if it was even possible.....the only thing that gave me some hope was that it was spotted gum and that most of the timber should be ok.. as it turned out, woooweee! And not a stick of timber replaced... the timber was that hard i actually had my first ever noise complaint while countersinking it! (11am weekday). Alot of sanding and buffing later and obviously 2x coats of natural oil this is what happened

15.01.2022 Another 175m2 from last week @ Club Armstrong in Unity drv Armstrong Creek. This was a great challenge as none of it could be sanded due to the stainless screws it had been fixed with proud. But, It can still be done! I simply stripped it all out with 1 of my high pressure machines very carefully then i was able to work some magic to re seal the grain of the timber which is essential before re oil so the product doesent just evaporate premituly. Another great result for our team and valued client.

12.01.2022 A nice transformation on a front entrance in main st Barwon Heads today. Lots of yucky water based crap on top now we can look at the stunning spotted gum that was hidden away with 2x Coates of premium natural oil in it now.

It ranged from a very old and rotting pool seat, a new deck and another with a failed waterbased product on it that needed stripping back and starting again, but ,most importantly we wanted to match them all up the same.... 9 years diff in age... what do you think?? How did we go??

09.01.2022 I was in Armstrong Creek again today, sprucing up a front entrance and back entertainment deck. All looks amazing and adds value to your house, i say its a small investment on your big investment. And if you don't look after it, it's very expensive to replace $$$$$$$$$$$.

08.01.2022 Apoligies, photos are not great due to weather and shadows! This was a 6 monthly re-coat for a repeat and valued client out at lara a couple of weeks ago. ( we offer re coat options to everyone by the way, not just current and previous clients) ... 100m2 of merbua wrap around deck that i prepped on day 1, and oiled early on day 2 so it was dry and my clients could walk in the door when they arrived home because of no other entry points.

08.01.2022 Another half yearly re-coat. All re buffed and re coated. Sometimes life's busy, sometimes you have un expected things happen or maybe you are just not comfortable doing the maintenance of your decks yourself. On this occasion my client was heavily pregnant!! Either way our service deffinately never stops when Brad finishes your Job and drives away, we are here to help when ever you need it. We get phone calls every week from our clients asking a range of quistions.. from what oil do I use again... to What brush were you using when you done my deck....or How long will it take to dry after I do it ... etc etc. Our service does not stop when I leave, ring me anytime. This timber was Black Butt and located in Newtown.

08.01.2022 We have been doing a lot of washing over the last 2 weeks with some awesome results that I'll post as soon as I get a minute..... . By Sunday or Monday I'll be finished this block of 3 weeks washing and we will be sanding decks solid for the next few months. This was my fav result this week, woooweee. I love my job

07.01.2022 Have I ever mentioned my love for spotted gum? Haha So.. 2 decks ... identical that are upstairs and down stairs, that had been let go a little too long after getting a birthday last year. It had missed both oils in the 12 months after I completed them because my client was o/s unexpectedly. Sometimes the unexpected happens... . But i popped over and gave them a light sand, heavy buff aand another 2 coats of natural oil and this 80m2 looks awsome all over Again!!... Located St Lenords.

05.01.2022 Sorry guys been m.i.a for a little while. I hope everyone is taking care of themselves in these crazy crazy times. Just for your information we are still in full swing and never been busier, and I apologize for any delays to clients in me replying its been very overwhelming, with the business, home schooling and moving house a handful of times between renovations, then being flooded and then re renovating.... We are taking all necessary measures as advised, to keep everyon...e safe and happy. Most jobs at the moment are no contact at all, and being quoted with a few photos and some measurements sent via sms,through this page or the website. Anyway I'll try to play catch up on some of the jobs I got before and afters of over the last few months. There is a 2 month gap for photos there as we washed approx 40 property's twice fore McMahon's services Australia in partner with Batesford Qaurry and it wasn't appropriate or for me to do so. 05.01.2022 Treated Pine is always difficult. Mainly because most people want to try and dress it up like something that it is just not..... My clients today said lets appreciate it for what it is and lets put a natural oil in it and get rid of that poo brown water based rubbish!... I was very happy with the results, and so were the owners!! Located Highton.

This was a job that needed merbua to be blended with some older existing deck, and some new stuff added on. 01.01.2022 This was an industrial clean of a basement section of a supermarket. The aim and goal was to eradicate all the nasties, to bring it back to new and stop moisture seeping from above that was causing most of the issues. It was a fantastic result, and all looking new again but more importantly making the work place safe and healthy again for staff and all employees. If you have any questions in regards to mould or moisture give me a ring anytime, it really is a health hazard that should be taken very seriously.
