23.01.2022 B. Braun VetCare: Julius is on the move again and this time he went to visit Veterinary Specialist of Sydney to take a look at their brand new hospital. He got to help Dr Karina Graham do some laser ablation treatment to help fix a patients ectopic uretes and he helped out the nurses monitoring anesthesia. We are very grateful to VSOS for taking such good care of Julius and letting him help out. 16.01.2022 Do you see what I see, hiding in the tree? Julius is on an adventure today, climbing through the eucalypt trees, looking for that perfect and delicious leaf. Did you know that Koalas sleep for 20hrs a day, leaving them 4hrs to just veg out! The Koalas only food source is the Eucalyptus tree, which is native to Australia just like our Koalas.... There are around 400 species of Eucalyptus trees but the one our Koalas love the most, is the Manna Gums. We also have two species of Koalas, the Northern Koalas and the Southern Koalas, their size, colour and shape differs slightly across eastern Australia. Koalas in Queensland are found to be smaller and lighter in colour and have less fur than our Koalas in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Our Koala Julius has a very important mission and with your help he can continue to visit veterinary clinics around Australia to raise awareness and funds to help with the conservation and survival of our wildlife.
