13.01.2022 May the 4th, a day for Star Wars lovers, and possibly more importantly - Firefighters . Aside from its ties to a galaxy far, far away today’s date is International Firefighters day. It also coincides with the Feast day of Saint Florian, the Patron Saint of firefighters. Today we commemorate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and recognise those who continue to contribute to this service. The brigade honours all those that are members of t...his community, from our fellow volunteers in SJ Shire to firefighters around the world. Particularly we would like to acknowledge our counterparts on the east coast who have suffered tragic losses to their community this past fire season. Stay Safe
