She comes with extensive experience across the childrens education sector, having worked with the University of Wollongong, Science Centre and Planetarium (now known as Science Space) as well as tutoring lots kids across the Shire. It has been a crazy week of highs and lows but through adversity we have had a great weekend of parties at Bricks 4 Kidz. Lots of happy kids with lots of hand sanitiser and social distancing. We really need to acknowledge our team who rallied together to make changes and make this happen all with big hearts and huge smiles! We are united, strong and willing to adapt to keep Bricks 4 Kidz the amaz...ing place that all of our little master builders love! 11.01.2022 Did you know that we also run SUPER FUN School Holiday Incursions in your local OOSH or Vacation Care Centre throughout Sutherland Shire and St George areas? This is what OOSH Directors are saying about our programs: BRICKS 4 KIDZ delivered an excellent program to our children during vacation care. It kept all of the children enthralled for two hours of fun and construction. Children worked in pairs reading instructions and building to create moving carnival rides with batt...ery operated motors. The BRICKS 4 KIDZ staff were patient and helpful with the children. The kids loved it and we cant wait to have BRICKS 4 KIDZ back! We all loved it. The children were so engaged and they could not stop talking about it. Your staff were so good with the kids too. 09.01.2022 We want to give all families peace of mind around our policies and procedures with the current environment. The health and well-being of our BRICKS 4 KIDZ community is our priority. We want to assure you that we have maintained our thorough cleaning regimen to keep all kids and staff safe. Heres how we tackle that problem: * Providing hand sanitiser to kids and staff when they start all our programs and after each break (we have plenty of hand sanitiser ); * Thoroughly clea...ning our centres before and after each event; * Regularly washing all our equipment using antiseptic and washing machines; and * Consistently using disinfectant spray on all our equipment. During our School Holiday programs, we encourage parents to keep children at home if they feel unwell. We offer FULL credits for missed programs due to illness. We trust parents to let us know and dont require a doctors certificate. It is hard enough to see doctors these days and we dont want this to be a problem. Should schools and governments take the decision to close schools for a period of time, we will not be running our After School programs during the shutdown. An email advising of the cancellation will be sent out to each class and a credit for the missed classes will be automatically added to your account. We are confident that school will resume in Term Two! Your credit can be used for our Term Two After School Program, or, wed love for you to consider one of our many small-group April School Holiday Programs. We remain committed to running the best Kids Birthday Parties in the Sutherland Shire and St George! If a parent needs to postpone a party, we just ask for 72 hours notice. Parties that need to be postponed inside 72 hours (or cancelled altogether) will forfeit the $100 deposit and any money committed towards catering. We are guided by the updates and recommendations from the Departments of Health and Education. Please dont hesitate to contact us should you have any concerns. As a local family-owned business running events and programs for kids, you can imagine that this difficult situation has been quite testing for us your continued support means everything to us. There are many incredible features of this space that we are looking forward to using, including the spacious, carpeted hall, modern outdoor play equipment (with shade) that the kids will LOVE, plenty of parking for parents, secure fencing around the premises, central location and so much more!
