19.01.2022 Autumn is such a productive season and I find nothing better than using what I see around me to create something really beautiful. I am also a calligrapher in my spare time, and I finally made myself some walnut ink to use with dip pens. Oh....the satisfaction is intoxicating Have you done something new in this stay-at-home era?

18.01.2022 To mark the first day of the new Crayfish season opening today, we have made some locally themed and beautiful bags ready for summer. On Sunday we went to The Blessing of the Fleet ceremony at Port Macdonnell Boat Ramp. Flowers were thrown out to sea after the first cray pot was lowered into the water. The local Reverend conducted a refreshing ceremony and gave the blessing for a safe and bountiful season. The Blessing of the Fleet is a tradition that began centuries ago in Mediterranean fishing communities and continues to this day all the way down here in the most Southern point of South Australia at the lovely village of Port MacDonnell. @ Port MacDonnell, South Australia

18.01.2022 We have all seen, or at least heard about our ABCs program War on Waste; this initiative in NY is a fantastic living example of a better way to dispose of the horror that the fashion / textile industry leaves behind. Be mindful of what you buy and what you put on your body to wear...here the only fabrics they cant recycle are spandex. So that goes to landfill. At Vivii, we use many discarded natural fibres from the big interior design houses to make into beautiful quality homewares. We also create clothing and homewares from raw wool- a profoundly sustainable entity. We stand by a Circular Model rather than the more usual Linear one - where the end product is not considered - in every item we create. #nolandfilltoday #naturalfibres #circulareconomy

17.01.2022 A few days in the life of...... living consciously, sustainably, simply on the land. It is freezing here at the moment, and we are doing a Nutritional Ketogenic program of eating which is so wholesome. It involves not eating gluten but instead; fermented breads, pastry and pasta - commonly referred to as sour dough. Here is a little video of what I have just learned. Hope it tastes good - otherwise I will poison everybody with tonights dinner

17.01.2022 We will be at The Bay Escape again this year. Come down on Saturday Feb 22 from 11am. There is live music, great food- local crayfish delights, wine, entertainment and you can go out on a boat and pull a crayfish pot. Last year there was a great vibe and this year looks even better. @ Port MacDonnell, South Australia

02.01.2022 Rugby Tops - Jumble Tweeds collection. They are created using South Australian made cotton rugby knit fabrics, turning the stripes which usually feature across the body around, to run up and down - giving a taller more slender look. I make sizes up to 55 1/2 or 141cm around the bust or chest which is about a 4XL. Gorgeous for genders. @ Studio Vivii
