17.01.2022 So this mini getaway wasn’t planned - and I broke my mini challenge I gave myself - ate foods I would never eat, drank alcohol, didn’t have my supps with 4 weeks til Xmas now it’s my absolute mission to feel good again and strip some weight off before Xmas .. 30 mins exercise per day - doesn’t matter what - walking, swimming, bike, workout 8-9 hours of sleep per night - going to bed before 10pm each night eating clean, fresh, organic no alcohol (except Xmas part...y) no takeaway for 4 weeks (if eating out no bread) NO NO sugar NO gluten NO DAIRY !! We have been doing this anyway, but this is just a reminder: No more than 10 people maximum per booking (9 participants, 1 facilitator/teacher) - babe army caps each session at 10, always. ... No contact between participants 1 person per 4 square metre to meet social distancing requirements - we are outside but social distancing 1.5 m away!! No shared equipment, where possible participants bring their own - we spray everything, and hands, and dont swap or share during sessions.. Appropriate hygiene practices including hand sanitization (please bring your own and use before & after session ) sprays are supplied for equipment during sessions. - own boxing gloves must be supplied- boxing may be cancelled due to covid restrictions If your unwell - stay home !!!!! Face masks can be a useful measur...e to help control sustained community transmission. Sustained community transmission is when we have multiple cases of locally acquired COVID-19 where contact tracing and testing is unable to identify how the person was infected. At the moment, there is no evidence to suggest that Queensland has any sustained community transmission. If you live in the greater region of Brisbane, a face mask might be suitable if: You are in a situation where social distancing cannot be maintained, i.e. public transport or a busy shopping centre If your GP has told you to wear one If you are caring for someone who has COVID-19 If you are attending a GP clinic, hospital or ED If you are sick and getting a COVID-19 test Face masks alone will not protect you from COVID-19. Being so busy I lost track, was less organised and started being lazy, not eating organic, not training and eating take away ... ... So what happened ? 07.01.2022 GREAT READ FOR YOU LADIES ON WHY YOU STORE MORE FAT THEN MEN & WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT. At rest, women burn more glucose (carbs) than men and less fat. In addition..., women tend to have greater fat storage after eating, which also contributes to their higher body fat percentage. Its favorable for women to have more body fat because these fat stores will be used during pregnancy and lactation. Most women store fat around the hips and thighs locking it away in preparation for having a baby. The fat around the hips and thighs (gluteofemoral) has a particularly high concentration of DHA, one of the three omega-3 fats. The theory is that gluteofemoral DHA fat is used to make breast milk, and that it is for the development of a babys brain. Research suggests that most women tend to have a low percentage of DHA in their gluteofemoral fat due to low intake of omega-3s. This normally leads to weight gain during pregnancy, because the womans brain is thought to monitor nutrient status throughout the body, sensing the low DHA stores. This leads to excessive hunger cues, causing women to eat more, in the quest to store as much DHA as possible for nurturing an infant brain. What To Do About It: Regardless of whether youre planning on having a baby, get adequate DHA in your diet. Shoot for a balanced ratio of omega-3 fats to omega-6 fats by limiting your intake of vegetable fats and oils and eat more fish, eggs, walnuts, flax seeds etc Make your body metabolically flexible so that it is capable of burning fat for energy. Do this by limiting carbohydrates in your diet at certain times so that your body is forced to learn to burn fat. For example, try eating lower carb on a day when you arent training but higher carb on workout days. Doing anaerobic-style exercise such as weight lifting and sprints also improves the bodys metabolic flexibility. I HOPE THAT MADE SENSE AND YOU GOT SOME VALUE FROM IT.

If you were to have 3x pt sessions per week you would pay anywhere from $150-$210 the only difference is - one on one your trainer will watch every rep and move, and customise workouts just for you. Group fitness is cheaper/included in gym memberships because its usually run by group fitness instructors not personal trainers - and your in bigger classes with more people (all at different levels), they focus on fitness/speed and not technique- you can get lost or perform incorrect technique without even realising which leads to injury or inconsistent/ no results.
