17.01.2022 A new show has just been installed at Babekuhl gallery! ‘OFFCUT’ is a collection of Perspex artefacts created by local designer Ian Tran at his fabrication studio, Domus Vim. A lock-down induced burst of creativity has given life to a series of vibrant objects which play with light, colour, scale and reflection. A joyful addition to any space.... 07.01.2022 ‘Spire’ is opens; a new light sculpture we created in collaboration with Sam Whiteside. Adorning three levels of Barangaroo House, 'Spire' plays with scale and light to create a piece which speaks to the site’s architecture and the surrounding landscape. Our work, as well as artworks by Domus Vim and Beni Single will be installed at Barangaroo House, Barangaroo until December 5. Well worth a visit, or even just a stroll along the forecourt. Best viewed at night.

04.01.2022 Exciting times. My solo exhibition ‘Bloomscapes’ opens tomorrow at babekuhl gallery on oxford st. It features a surreal series of infrared photographs I shot in shanghai in 2019, a short film, an ambient sound scape by Patrick Santamaria and lots of creative and emotional heart xxx . ‘Bloomscapes’ repositions the familiar with the surreal. The elevated infrastructures of the modern metropolis are submerged in a vast sea. A bloom of fluorescent pink seaweed entangles pylons at a pier. An underwater forest flourishes on the ocean floor. Finally shanghai is transformed into a contemporary Atlantis; a stage for liquid dreams.
