05.01.2022 Good evening everyone. I would like to do a big shout out to all my Babinda fire fighting family, once again you you have all blown my mind and made me extremely proud to be your Captain. As you all may or may not know we all participated in Movember this year as a crew to support one of our own. A goal was set and we all worked hard to hit it, November was a hard month for us all with a lot going on but I am ecstatic to announce we not only reached out goal but blow it out the window with a high pressure case one. Final figure after all the upper lips were shaved clean again and ladies hair had been dyed is $1462 . I would like to personally thank all the local businesses that helped with our efforts and to anyone and everyone who donated I wish you all a little Christmas luck. Once again thank you to my crew you make me proud.

05.01.2022 Hey everyone, tomorrow is remembrance day. This remembrance day marks the 100 year of the signing of the armistice, between the allies of world war one and Germany at compiegne, france. When the treaty was signed all the bells from through out England rang, from the schools, churches and factories to signify the end of the war. As Australia received the news they followed in England's foot steps with bells ringing across this glorious country. Tomorrow we will be trying to replicate this momentous occasion, at the babinda cenotarph with ringing of the bells. All are welcomed to attend. If you have animals that may be scared by the noise we apologise and suggest you keep them inside. Hope to see you all down there.
