24.01.2022 We will be opening for limited hours during the school holidays. Our opening hours will be 7am-11am on the following days: Wed 23/9 Thurs 24/9 Fri 25/9 Mon 28/9 to Fri 2/10. ... As of Monday 6th October we will be operating our regular opening hours. Mon - Fri 6am - 11am & 1pm - 6pm Sat: 8am - 12pm. If you are interested in swimming lessons for your child, these will commence as of Week 1, Term 4. Please contact us via Facebook or the pool on 4067 1211 to find out more information. 21.01.2022 With the start of swimming lessons next week, please be aware that we have no shade over the pool at all. We suggest in this weather and with the sun exposure, families choose a long sleeve rashie and sunscreen for themselves and their children. By late afternoons we often have shade from the trees but Saturdays and early afternoons will be full sun exposure. Council have been notified about the shade damage and will be looking into options for repair or replacement. This will take some time, so we ask that all patrons please look after your sun safety requirements. If you are looking for lessons please contact the pool on 40671211 or message our page.

16.01.2022 TO ALL OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS... Due to the ongoing situation with the Corona Virus at the moment we would ask that you don’t attend the pool if you are unwell. This applies to swimmers and children that attend our learn to swim classes as well. We are doing our best to clean all surfaces that people have contact with multiple times a day so as to provide a bacteria free environment. We can only do so much and this is why we are asking to please refrain from attending the pool if you are unwell at this time. We thank you for your understanding. We are monitoring the situation and if further changes need to be made we will make sure to update you all as soon as possible.

11.01.2022 TO ALL OF OUR LEARN TO SWIM FAMILIES We understand that this is a very scary and trying time and that you are all very busy with what is to come but we are asking that if you are no longer attending your booked swim lessons or are ill or absent can you please please call or message our page and let us know. Your health and well-being is a top priority for us here at Babinda Aquatic Centre but we would appreciate it if you are unable to make lessons to let us know so our teach...ers can plan lessons appropriately. This may go on for some time and we will look at payments in the near future and make a plan but unless you notify us of your absence we cannot roll those payments over. We would like to also make you aware that if a child attends the pool and is unwell in any way, parents will be asked to remove them from the facility. It’s frustrating for all of us but your health and well-being is not something we take lightly. 07.01.2022 Tuesday 8th December Pool closed 11am-3.30pm Staff will be attending Year 6 graduation ceremony and we have been unable to secure additional staff for the 2.5hour closure (usually closed 11am-1pm). Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

03.01.2022 **IMPORTANT INFORMATION** We are excited to announce that we will be reopening this coming Monday 18th May for 2 weeks (limited hours). Due to restrictions on the number of swimmers at the pool, we can only have a maximum of 6 swimmers at the pool at one time. Bookings are not essential in Babinda, however you are welcome to book to avoid waiting. ...
