02.01.2022 Let's be honest. Cooking dinner can be such a chore! Trust me, we get that!! Let's make it official and say there's nothing wrong with a toasted sandwich for dinner every now & then. When it comes to toasties, this one is definitely up there! ~ The Reuben Sandwich Traditionally this sandwich is made on rye bread & loaded with corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut & russian dressing. We skipped the sauerkraut (an important ingredient but didn't have it on hand) Instea...d we used burger pickles for that much needed acidic flavour. We added slices of our house made Corned Silverside. Topped it off with Swiss Cheese & made the easy russian dressing. The Reuben Sandwich is a must try! Come in & pick up a Corned Silverside & give it a go! Easy Russian Dressing Recipe: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 3 tabs, tomato sauce 2 tabs, horseradish 2 tabs, worcestershire sauce 1 tab, granulated sugar 1/4 tsp, paprika salt/pepper Bring on the humble toastie meal!
