23.01.2022 We have a few of these 'sorry notes' to send out with the small wooden magnetic chess sets as promised over the next few days for the slow deliveries at Christmas (and 2/3 afterwards as well). There's still one or two orders outstanding and we'll be in contact with those customers in the next few days. Orders are now going out mostly within 24 hours .

17.01.2022 We're looking forward to the New Year and getting this business back on track. Any orders from now until the 30th December will be sent out on the 31st December in Australia. New Zealand orders are as normal.

17.01.2022 Orders made for the remainder of today, tomorrow and the weekend will be sent express post (free of charge) on Monday (Fast Post in NZ). Any current outstanding orders will be sent today or tomorrow morning.

16.01.2022 As per our offer we have now separated our inventory. The Australian site is now only showing inventory held in Melbourne. Today all remaining Australian and NZ orders will be sent out. We will also start catching up on the orders that were previously not sent out when the Royal Arcade store closed about a year and a half ago. This will be done in sequential order and may take several weeks to finalize. We have already send a few of these orders out so if you have one of these just be patient and you will receive it as soon as we are able to attend to it (we won't have inventory for some of these orders for another 4 weeks or so).

14.01.2022 There's been a few hiccups this month. In the next few days we will change the Australian and New Zealand websites so that they reflect only inventory in the respective countries. Apologies to those affected by delays this December. For those affected we will arrange to send you a small chess set as compensation which you should receive early in the New Year.

12.01.2022 We had a few server (shifted from US to Australia) and computer (12 days in repair shop) issues in the last two weeks. Now on the way to being fixed. All outstanding orders from these few weeks will be attended to today/tomorrow. If you sent an email and it bounced back please send it again now to [email protected] as that will be the first email account to be working again. We still don't have access to NZ orders until we have reinstalled software but this should be attended to by tomorrow.

06.01.2022 Hope everyone had a good Australia day holiday. Still yet to reinstall email accounts but will have that done today and will attend to any emails there later today. Will aim to get any still unfilled orders out tomorrow or Thursday and will be in contact with the few of you (genuine) customers who this applies to today. The weekend orders in Australia & NZ will be sent out today. 04.01.2022 We will be closing at 2:30pm today as we still have a bit of work to do re getting the shop ready. We should be open a minimum of 11am to 4pm from now. It’s still very quiet in the city so hopefully some changes will be announced fairly soon to bring more people back to the city.

02.01.2022 Just quietly our Australian webpage is back up and the sets that we have there currently are at pretty good prices. We should have some more sets available in 10-14 days. Hoping to provide a really good range for everyone this Xmas on our Australian and NZ online stores.
