13.01.2022 It is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, a month to celebrate Down Syndrome and raise awareness of what it means to live with Down Syndrome. We are celebrating Mia, one of our Baby Sensory bubs who rocks an extra chromosome. Mia's mum Lisa has set up a team, Team Mia, for the Step Up For Down Syndrome event that is happening next week. You can join the team and participate in the event or you can donate to Team Mia. "A question I get asked almost every day ... " Mia must only have a mild case of Down Syndrome There are not different severities of down syndrome. You either have it or you dont. As with all people, people with down syndrome have their own strengths, weaknesses, talents and abilities." - Lisa Bentley
