24.01.2022 This is a great read. I know its frustrating when at the end of the day we have so much to do, and kids ask us to lay with them....but i must admit , of i spend 10minutes laying next to my toddler at bedtime she then doesn't get out of bed. if i rush when i put her to sleep, she does come out with many excuses ( wants water, her toe is hurting, something woke her up etc etc. and despite having lots to do after she goes to sleep, it actually helps me to sum up the day and r...elax myself when i snuggle next my toddler. It could be tricky with more than one kids, I guess! What would you do? http://www.yourmodernfamily.com/mommy-will-lay/
23.01.2022 There I was waiting for my client to call me last night @8pm ...and was waiting, and waiting...completely forgot that Queensland doesn't get the daylight savings!! At least I enjoyed 30 minutes of peace and quiet in my office :))
23.01.2022 Meet Miss Sofia, 10 month old. Here is what her mum had to say after our sleep training: "Not sure I can really explain in a few sentences how amazing it is to have genuine results with a gentle easy to follow method that I feel I can really follow through with. And I had forgotten how good it was to sleep peacefully without being woken a million times! Happy mummy, happy baby!"... She has gone from 18-22 minutes cat napping to sleeping for 2h during the day, not to mention the massive improvement at night time! 16.01.2022 With this client we went from cat napping of 20min at the time and many many wake ups overnight, to bub sleeping for over 2h at the time during the day and 12h sleep in less than a week:)) CLIENT STORY: Our 3rd child was proving to be of a different mold to our other two, so my husband and I were finding it hard when sleeping wasn't quite going how we imagined it would! When she was 10months old, at a point of desperation, we googled "baby sleep specialist". When we clicked o...n "baby academy", it seemed like the least complicated and most reasonably priced, so we emailed for help. The next day I received a phone call from Anita, and even though we had enquired about a certain level of support, she recommended a package more suitable to our needs, even though it was less expensive. From there, our lives honestly improved immensely. Our precious child began having two long day naps (previously they were 20mins max), and she also weaned off her dummy by her choice(!). We stopped feeding overnight and she didn't bat an eyelid. These all may seem like trivial things, but to us it meant more sleep and therefore happier people! Including our baby! Plus, it allowed me to continue to homeschool my eldest without stressing out about the baby's quick naps! We found Anita to be very simple in her approach; quick to respond to emails; and also very encouraging. Our family is just so glad that we came in contact with Anita and can't thank her enough for her help and support. - Jasmine Do you know somebody that could do with a better sleep but doesn't believe in controlled crying? Tag them here and let them know its possible. www.babyacademy.com.au
15.01.2022 This little dude went from notorious cat napper to sleeping for a couple of hours at the time. Daytime naps are no longer a dreaded clock watching for this family. Here is what they have to say: '' We called Anita for help when Harrison was 4 months old. He was a shocking cat napper through the day resulting in him being constantly over tired and cranky. We were struggling with any type of routine and most days felt like a battle. Anita did a home visit and gave us the inform...ation and advice needed to help change this. It gave us both a much needed confidence boost and some clear direction on how to shape our days. We saw changes in Harrison in just a few days resulting in a much happier baby and parents.' www.babyacdemy.com.au See more
15.01.2022 This is why I love my job-in 24h of sleep training this baby who was up at least 4 times between 8pm-10pm plus waking hourly for the rest of he night slept-WAIT, for 8 hours straight-no wonder this client is in love with me:))) Tag a friend if you know they need some sleep support!
15.01.2022 Before I went to see this family their four month old bundle of joy would only sleep in the carrier on mum for his daytime sleep and this is how he needed to be settled at night time too. While it worked when he was a tiny baby, it wasn't the method his parents wanted to continue to use as it wasn't always working and mum's back was suffering. Not to mention that mum wasn't getting any down time. It was lovely to receive this update yesterday. Tag a friend if you kno...w they need some help in the sleep department. And to note all of his was achieved by using my gentle and nurturing methods. No form of controlled crying was used in the sleep training process. Sleepy Regards Anita www.babyacademy.com.au
