04.01.2022 There are three ways to manage the funds in your NDIS Plan. Self, Plan (broker) or Agency, (or a mix) Don’t be a dork and get stuck with Agency Management. If ...you think you can’t manage Self Management (which offers the greatest flexibility) go for Plan Management. Make the decision BEFORE your planning meeting. Plan Management does not need to be Reasonable and Necessary - if you want it it should almost always be approved, with very few exceptions. Seriously. Please. As Support Coordinators, The Growing Space are seriously considering only accepting Plan and Self Managed participants due to the inflexibilities of Agency Management for participants. We help participants get the best outcomes and see them get closer to reaching their goals when the plan is Self or Plan Managed. Whenever we see an Agency Managed Plan we collectively groan. Honest.
