Using a jolly jumper frame as a mosquito net when outside in the evenings- when he is older she plans to make it a teepee play tent ! Awesome upcycling! What have you upcycled or do you have any innovative ideas to share?

13.01.2022 ASTHMA and COVID-19 RESEARCH RESULTS: Asthma Australia seeks to find answers to the significant questions and challenges facing Australians with asthma. During ...the first outbreak of COVID-19, we sought to answer the question that was worrying you and your families; if I have asthma, am I more at risk of acquiring COVID-19? Should I self-isolate? And if I get it, will I die? Through our National Research Fund, we commissioned a study with The George Institute for Global Health to find out if we could answer these questions. We did that. And we’re pleased to bring you answers. People with #asthma don’t appear to be at greater risk of acquiring #COVID-19 than the rest of the population. Most people with asthma are not contracting COVID-19 at all and if they do, they are equally likely to recover. People with asthma are like everyone else and need to keep up with protective measures against COVID-19 and must try to get their asthma under control. 08.01.2022 This is a big shoutout to Coastal Babysitters! I have been babysitting little ones for over 15years and never have I found such a professional and trustworthy babysitting agency where everyone is interviewed and highly experienced. Although I only do the very occasional babysit we had a staff meeting last night all focussed on what we can do to make sure the kids have an amazing time. If you live/holiday in Kingscliff, the Gold Coast or Brisbane I couldn’t recommend this agency any more highly- you will have total peace of mind this is just a quick photo of some of the Brisbane crew

03.01.2022 Urgent button battery warning! Just a day after a Gold Coast family revealed their heartbreak after losing their 3-year old daughter to a button battery ingesti...on, all attendees at the AFL Grand Final in Brisbane were given a wrist band containing 2 fully charged lithium batteries. A shocked emergency paediatrician took just two seconds to expose the batteries, which, if swallowed by children can burn through tissues within hours. Warn others. Share with anyone you know who attended the game to immediately dispose of the bands in the bin. DO NOT expose the batteries. #buttonbatterywarning #aflgrandfinaldanger #buttonbatteriescankill #buttonbatteryaware See more

02.01.2022 * Sharing to raise awareness for other parents* This little guy loves food and whilst in a secure outdoor play area at a park he caught sight of some mushrooms under an oak tree. In a matter of seconds he grabbed one to eat and had already swallowed the top of the mushroom when mum tried to grab it out of his mouth. 15minutes later he vomited and having done our course mum knew not to make him drink milk or vomit, but rather call poisons hotline and get advice. She was alerte...d to the fact by poisons hotline mushrooms under an oak tree are toxic (with some even deadly and able to cause organ damage). She got him to the hospital where they were able to give him charcoal directly to his stomach to try and absorb the toxins. Thankfully after a few nights in hospital he recovered without any long term damage. Sharing this with mums permission to raise awareness as little ones can be very fast! *please share so other parents are aware.

01.01.2022 Well here is one way of encouraging people to be covid safe!
