22.01.2022 A recall has been issued today for the Joie i-Travvel Car Seat. If you have one, you should stop using it immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or store credit. For advice on seating, please contact your local BabySafe Centre.

21.01.2022 About 2pm on Saturday 25th January 2020 Traffic and Highway Patrol officers deployed to Raymond Terrace and surrounds for the Australia Day long weekend stopped... a silver Toyota Camry in Rutherford in relation to exceeding the speed limit. On activating lights and sirens a young girl in the rear seat was observed to reach for a seat belt in an attempt to put it on. On closer inspection a 9 year old girl was in the middle rear seat still trying to fit the seatbelt. Next to her was her 4 year old sister who was in a booster seat however with no belts fitted. In what was even more concerning was on the other side of the girl was a 1 month old boy laying unrestrained in a child capsule which was also not affixed to the seat in any way. The male driver produced an international drivers licence. Further enquiries revealed that the male had only just recently applied for a New South Wales learners licence in December 2019 however was refused due to accruing too many Demerit Points. Due to the mentioned offences the driver was issued a number of penalty notices totaling 24 Demerit Points (Double Demerits) along with a Court Attendance Notice to attend Maitland Local Court for Drive whilst Refused.

BabySafe remains fully operational across all locations during the governments restrictions on non-essential activity. During this time we will be limiting the repairs and jobs that are considered non essential. Working days and hours will be limited and may vary between centres. Appointments will be spread out to reduce the chances of customers coming into contact with other customers. Walk ins will not be accepted during these times. Bookings are essential. With the limited operating hours, our priority is to ensure we can service all the parents with newborns arriving. If you need an installation or change to a restraint in anyway, but it is not essential, please consider waiting until the restrictions have been lifted. We are committed to continuing to provide services throughout our network and as any disruptions resulting from COVID-19 (coronavirus) occur, we will keep you, our customers, updated.

12.01.2022 Before and after of the seat protector mat and the vehicle seats. Mats were taken out, and given a quick wipe over. They look like new again, I was super impre...ssed. Vehicle seats were also wiped over, and then the clean mats out back in. They still look great despite having child restraints in the car for over four years now. Kids can be messy. I wonder how long it will take them to mess it up this time

11.01.2022 About 2:55pm on the 5th of June 2020, Police were conducting patrols of local school zones around Smithfield during Operation Stay Alert. Police observed a 7 se...ater Toyota Station Wagon with the two children ages 9 and 11 seated in the rear to be unrestrained. The vehicle was stopped and it was observed the children were in the rear row of seats which had been folded down to fit in a pram. These two children were facing the rear of the vehicle, and were not wearing seatbelts at all. The driver explained that there was not enough room for the children and the pram so he placed the children on the pram just to take them home. The driver was issued with two infringements for the unrestrained children ($344 and 3 points x 2) and Family and Community Services notifications have been made. See more

04.01.2022 Reason number 101 why Im thankful I have premium seat protector mats under my child restraints.... and my 15 month old still rear facing. Baby decided to power chuck, all over the seat. Not a fun situation. ... However, because he was rear facing, the vomit went all over him, from head to toes. Not onto the seats in front, or into the footwell. Since I had the premium mats, the vehicle seats were protected, and it made getting the seat and mess out of the car super easy. These photos show the mat, and then the vehicle seats once the mats were removed. I havent cleaned the vehicle seats yet, or the mats, but I know they will come up great, I shall post another photo of that once I do. If you would like some of these mats for your car, let me know, I have more stock that has just arrived, but they sell out quick
