Ian would always be one of the first to volunteer for any required duty and it would always be done with his ever-endearing smile. 14.01.2022 Bacchus Marsh Football Netball Club is seeking expressions of interest for the roles of Senior Netball Coach for season 2021. Coaching roles available for A Grade through to E Grade and Under 19. These positions come with the support of the club committee and plays a vital role in development of all Senior Netball players. Key coaching objectives:... Provide strong on and off court leadership to the playing group. Play a lead role in player skills development with internal support. Establish a professional, positive and disciplined culture for all players and support staff in line with the club’s values, including promotion and further development of our ‘One Club’ philosophy. Work cooperatively with the coaches of the other grades to ensure a consistent approach to coaching is applied. To be successful the applicant will need to demonstrate the following: Have a desire for team, personal and club success. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and communicate to all players. A high level of organisational skills and positive attitude. Previous Senior Netball level coaching experience. All executive positions are now vacated and we are seeking nominations for the executive positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. We are also seeking nominations for general committee members. The AGM will be conducted adhering to COVID protocols. Due to COVID-19 all financial member as at 30th September, 2019 have had their membership extended to December 31st, 2020.

09.01.2022 JUNIOR SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT. The McDonalds BFNL is disappointed to announce that given the changing situation in the state of Victoria regarding COVID 19, the j...unior football and netball seasons will not proceed in 2020. There was initially a strong desire from clubs to commit to providing participation for juniors this year with plans being formulated for a junior premiership season. A number of clubs have since indicated they do not wish to proceed. Recent announcements from health experts has also cast concerns on the ability of clubs and the league to ensure a safe environment for players, parents and supporters. The health and well being of everyone involved has always been at the forefront of considerations which the league now believe do not favour pressing forward this year. We are disappointed to make this announcement but trust there will be understanding as to why this has been made. The BFNL must thank the junior coordinators who have contributed so many hours to the discussions held. The opportunity now presents itself for the league and all clubs to work towards a strong 2021 season. Thank you to all supporters of the Ballarat FNL during these trying times.

06.01.2022 Last night it was decided by the BFL to cancel the U/9s competition for 2020, as our U/9s are apart of the RDFL and we are yet to hear a decision regarding our teams. We will have an update for all other junior level football and netball from the BFL by June 26th and we will keep you updated as decisions are made regarding the 2020 season

05.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE We have been in lengthy conversation with both the Ballarat Football & Netball League and other clubs in the BFNL over the last few weeks, and at this stage we continue to wait for advice from AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria surrounding the 2020 Season and the hope to commence in July. The BMFNC will continue to follow the lead of the BFNL and we will update club players, members and supporters as best as possible when further decisions are made.
