01.01.2022 **IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF OUR PATIENTS** Dear Patients and Friends, We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 information and are aware of the recent media coverage and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities.... As members of your local community, the health and peace of mind of our patients, families, and team members remain our highest priority. We are emphasizing all of our regular disinfection and barrier protocols and taking additional safety precautions to ensure the safety and health of all while visiting our office. We comply with all CDC and OSHA directives for disease prevention and protection. Every single instrument is sterilized after every use. Face masks are used by all staff and gloves are changed before seeing each patient. Between patients we wipe down the dental chair and surfaces with disinfectant. This has always been part of our standard disease prevention protocol. As we have stressed in the past, we are a well office and we ask all scheduled patients who are experiencing symptoms of any respiratory virus or communicable disease to contact us to reschedule. Specifically, under these current circumstances, we are asking that you not come into the office if you have a fever, are coughing, sneezing, or having difficulty breathing, or if you have been exposed to someone with the COVID-19 virus. We are seeing only well patients in our office. Those who have traveled outside of Australia, particularly to countries with high exposure to the coronavirus including, but not limited to, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Italy and Iran or who have been in contact with persons exposed to the coronavirus should be quarantined 14 days, beginning the day after they left China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Iran. For in-office appointments, we are asking parents to please stay in the reception area or in the car while their children are treated. For very young children or those who need TLC we will make accommodation for a parent to join the patient in the clinical area. We ask that parents/patients do not bring friends or siblings into the office who do not have a treatment appointment.
