18.01.2022 Have you ever used Rocktape before? Rocktape is great for treating sports injuries, aids in muscle recovery, enhances performance and reducing swelling and bruising. A must have for any athlete!

18.01.2022 Plantar Fasciitis is the irritation on the plantar fascia, usually near the heel, that causes foot pain. It is important to treat any adhesions or tight spots in the plantar fascia and calf muscles to reduce the tension being put on the spot of irritation or pain.

15.01.2022 Brand new cupping set has arrived! The way I use cupping is not in the traditional way. I incorporate movement of both the cups and yourself to get a deeper stretch and release of the fascia, and depending on the way it's used, may not even leave you with those big bruises!

15.01.2022 Don't ignore the little niggles until they become bigger issues! If you're an avid gym-goer, constant repetitive movements can lead to your muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments being put on strain. Remedial therapy can help keep your body happy and healthy, while sorting out any little niggles that pop up before they turn into injury!

12.01.2022 Hi I thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Kailee, the owner of Back on Track Remedial Therapy. I've been a Remedial Therapist for 2 years now and i'm so passionate about helping people recover from injury and create better movement patters to prevent injury in the future! Playing basketball was my whole life for 10 years and it took me to playing in the State Basketball League. I was no stranger to injuries, and this ultimately led me to my passion and this industry (everything happens for a reason, right?) I love to travel, get outdoors and try new things!

11.01.2022 Workshop 5 of the Ultimate Sports Therapist was so interesting and a heap of fun! The application of Rocktape is so good to promote blood flow, reduce muscle fatigue, help injury recovery, and improve overall performance!

10.01.2022 Fun weekend working at the Perth Marathon A massive congratulations to all those who participated!!

08.01.2022 Many people don't engage or fire their glute muscles properly when exercising or doing movements. Over time, this will lead to weakness in your glutes and an imbalance with other muscles like your quads being overactive. This can cause knee pain, lower back pain and put you at increased risk of injury

08.01.2022 Do you get headaches along with your tight or stiff neck? When your muscles are tight, they form trigger points. These points create pain, and can also be the cause of referral pain in a different region to the location of the trigger point. Trigger points in your shoulders and neck can refer into your head, sometimes being the cause of your headaches! At Back on Track we can release your trigger points and reduce the occurrence of tension headaches!

08.01.2022 Stretching your calves with both your leg straight and bent is important if you want to target your whole calf! The reason for this is stretching them with your leg straight will target the upper muscles in your calf, and doing it with a bent leg will target the lower muscles

07.01.2022 Remedial therapy sessions can increase your mobility! Have you been feeling stiff lately?

07.01.2022 SCIATICA -- PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME Sciatica or piriformis syndrome can present as lower back pain, buttock pain, and pain, numbness or tingling down your leg. It is caused by the piriformis muscle being tight and compressing on the sciatic nerve. To help relieve this, you want to reduce the muscle tension in the piriformis and the surrounding muscles, so that it doesn't irritate the nerve.

06.01.2022 SHIN SPLINTS I can tell you from personal experience that shin splints are horrible! There are a few things I wish I had known earlier that can help them! 1. Release muscle tension in the whole lower leg! Shin splints are formed from micro tears in the muscles and tendons that attach to the tibia, tight muscles pull on these more! 2. Rocktape, Rocktape, Rocktape! 3. Have a professional assess how your body is moving! You may be unknowingly making compensation patterns, that ...when put under load (running or other sport) is exacerbating the issue. (I can do this for you) 4. Recovery! Super important! More than just stretching and relaxing. Good recovery includes good nutrition and sleep as well 5. Rest. In many cases, shin splints are brought on by a sudden increase in training and intensity. If this is you, it might be a good idea to take a step back and slowly build it up See more

05.01.2022 Treating your muscles, fascia, joints and ligaments using remedial massage therapy is great, and even better when it is complimented with corrective exercise to help you maintain the improvements we get long term. At Back on Track, we not only treat your pain and symptoms, but also treat the cause and give you the tools to correct any imbalances

04.01.2022 PIRIFORMIS STRETCH This is a great stretch for the piriformis, perfect for those with piriformis syndrome or to include in your warm up or cool down

03.01.2022 Back on Track Remedial Therapy offers the very best treatment plans to get you pain free and performing your best. They are tailored to you and your specific needs. We do this by getting to the cause of your pain, not just treating the symptoms. I perform postural and movement assessments, advanced soft tissue massage and stretching techniques, cupping, myofascial release, joint mobilisations and exercise therapy to get you Back on Track

03.01.2022 A very common thing I see in the clinic are people presenting with rounded shoulders and upper back, shoulder and neck pain. The muscles in those areas are being stretched and put on strain as the shoulders roll forward, and become irritated, forming painful trigger points to hold on. In order to correct this posture we need to release the pectoral muscles to lengthen them, and strengthen the back muscles to pull the shoulders back Do you have rounded shoulders?

03.01.2022 Functional Release Cupping! A bit of a different approach to the traditional Chinese Cupping methods, Functional Release Cupping uses evidence based research to improve pain, release tension and restore movement and healthy muscles and fascia. This one gets some awesome results!

02.01.2022 ONLY 3 DAYS APART! Rocktape is also amazing for reducing bruising, swelling and pain

01.01.2022 Hey everyone! I'm super excited to be running this workshop at Clear Mind Studio. Come along, it will give you a tonne of knowledge about posture and will be lots of fun!
