08.01.2022 Update re COVID-19 For the safety of our patients, practitioners, staff and the wider community, we are kindly asking all people attending our clinic to follow some simple rules to minimise any potential spread of the Coronavirus. If you are unwell, have a fever, cough or flu like symptoms and/or have been overseas or been in contact with someone who may have been exposed to Coronavirus in the past 2 weeks, please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment (Phone 9305 703...5). Hand sanitiser is provided at reception and we advise everyone to please wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water on arrival. Further recommended / safe hygiene practices are Coughing / sneezing into your elbow (rather than a tissue) and being mindful to not touch your face. We also suggest that you try and arrive at the clinic at the time of your appointment to avoid unnecessary waiting in our waiting room. Please refrain from unnecessary touching of surfaces and (where possible) apply social distancing measures. Should you bring your child/children with you to your appointment, please supervise them at all times, remind them to wash their hands/use hand sanitiser on arrival and refrain from unnecessary touching of surfaces. As always, Back2Basics minimises spread of infection with regular cleaning of clinic surfaces and treatment tables. Our Practitioners receive regular updates from Osteopathy Australia and will immediately follow all recommendations / directives from State and Federal Departments of Health. Although we are open for the time being, if the clinic is advised to close we will immediately act on that advice. Should you have a future appointment booked we will endeavour to advise you of our clinic closure as soon as possible and cancel or reschedule your appointment as appropriate. The length of closure will depend on advice from the State and Federal Departments of Health. Our cancellation policy has been amended for the time being no fee will be charged for late notice of appointment cancellation, however we would appreciate if you would please call us with as much notice as possible should you wish to cancel an appointment for any reason. A cancellation fee of $45 may be charged for non-attendance of an appointment. Our practitioners reserve the right to refuse treatment if you present at the clinic for your appointment and you are unwell or showing any symptoms of a cold, cough, fever or shortness of breath. This is a necessary safety precaution, and we thank you for your understanding.
