18.01.2022 Roughly a month time I will be pollard cutting alot of our nurse trees ,they will release nitrogen in ground as a slow release fertilizer feeding all our young fruit trees allowing for light and creating our own top quality mulch onsite. No trucks bringing in mulch or fertilizer ,feeding own young fruit/nut trees through atmospheric nitrogen using plants. We are trying to get the 7 layers of a forest grown in food in our front yard. If you would like to learn ,ask questions ...anything at all ,give us a shout and we can help you achieve your very own food security for the next 20plus yrs. Plant now harvest for yrs to come Its a no brainer ,helps our planet and feeds not only us but all our little critters that call it home. See more

16.01.2022 Had the young bloke and my wifey on the job today

15.01.2022 Putting in some raised garden beds and repurposing 2 old bath tubs into worm farms

15.01.2022 The trees near our young bloke Connor have many functions and are and amazing tree. They are called pigeon pea ,grow to about 15ft and are a legume. We use them to break through hard clay ,and as the spring heats up we cut them back as a high pollard allowing light through to help our young fruit trees and releasing atmospheric nitrogen underground cutting back costs and having high quality mulch grown on site. The peas themselves can be eaten green ,ground into flour and is... the main ingredient for Dahl. After the chop and drop these trees will be grown back by early January as high shade to protect our young fruit trees again from the hot sun. Also creates shade ,privacy and food for our beneficial insects What a incredible tree grown from seed to 14 ft plus in under a yr See more

15.01.2022 Removal of the old garden edge ,next to go in is a riverstone edge with a rosemary border across the top side

14.01.2022 Another day done and dusted Quick little tidy up and a complementary lawn/edge

11.01.2022 Our little backyard farm ,repurposed 2 old bathtubs into worm farmsto reduce waste and in return we get the best natural fertilizer Our chooks turn our compost which I bring home clippings from lawns we do reducing waste again the compost feed our garden which feed us We can install raised garden beds and plan out rotational crops so you have organic food all year round.

10.01.2022 Nothing like a Saturday morning to get the heart pumping

10.01.2022 Our grafted nectarine tree ,2yrs apart. We used red clover to bust through the red clay for a month before we planted it. Than planted it straight into the red clover so the root system could follow the clover roots deep into the soil profile and act as a living mulch that realises atmospheric nitrogen underground where it's needed most Can't wait to eat our fruits of labour and share it around

10.01.2022 Our little chooks love jumping in my trees Every night before bed

09.01.2022 Bit of hard work never goes astray

08.01.2022 Nice job for a Friday, massive shout out to my wifey for all the help Couldn't do it without you my love We put in some ollas to hold onto the water and release it when the soil needs a drink

07.01.2022 Couple of jobs from today Makes sense to use your mulcher when mowing ,as 75 percent of what is in the catcher is water that could be held in the ground and the rest will decompose adding valuable nutrients back into your soil where it belongs

07.01.2022 Nice little tidy up and mow
