23.01.2022 Hi there - I have some offers re PPE - as most of you know we have a manufacturing workroom here in Chermside West. I have in the past manufactured hospital sc...rubs for the RBH Emergency Department and the Dental Hospital. We can obviously also manufacture gowns and theatre caps. I have two offers here: 1. I can manufacture scrubs, gowns and theatre caps and sell them at a very reasonable price to interested parties. Happy to take orders and may even, if I get sufficient interest do a bulk run of 50 units. 2. Happy to on-sell fabric to those wonderful sewers who are making and donating items - I can supply royal blue poly/viscose for hospital scrubs right now at $7.50 per metre which is 1/3 of retail (min. 5m. lengths) and I can bring in the lightweight waterproof fabric for gowns,(probably $6per metre) and I have various fabrics which can be used for theatre caps. So, could you my friends, please circulate this far and wide and see if we can assist the health system in this crisis and perhaps assist keeping our small business afloat in these challenging times.
