Just a few of these include: increased flexibility, strength and endurance reduction of stress and anxiety through mindful practice... improvement of sleep patterns better management of chronic pain states Regular yoga practice has genuinely been shown to improve a person’s general wellbeing and quality of life. And in this time of uncertainty where our mental health can suffer, a practice that brings awareness to the now, rather than stressing and fretting over what the future may bring, can be so beneficial. This is state of awareness and acceptance is called Mindfulness, and we could all use a little more of this right now! Plus, all you need is a space on the floor, no other equipment necessary! Although you'll see her at our front desk, she is currently studying her Masters of Physiotherapy; having completed her Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2019. Fern was a professional triathlete for many years and was lucky enough to travel and compete for Australia internationally! She is a huge animal lover, especially her Great Dane, Louis, and enjoys days at the beach, gigs around Adelaide, and eating out at quirky cafes.
