22.01.2022 We all know someone that tries to carry everything all at once. Although tiresome, making multiple trips to the car can help ease the strain on your body and spine. Remember when carrying heavy loads to keep the object as close to your body as you can, bend at the knees to lessen the strain on your back, use both hands and slowly stand up. 22.01.2022 QUICK UPDATE COVID-19 Under the Federal Government, we are still classed as an Essential Service. So we are currently open. If that were to change, we will let you know. We want to reassure you that we are taking this very seriously. We are doing our best to keep everyone healthy and safe. We are enforcing some social distancing. We have rearranged the furniture in the waiting room to get the recommended 1.5m distance between you and another person. ... If for any reason we are running late, the receptionists will call you so that you can stay in your car and we will let you know when you can come into the clinic. We have also increased our already high level of hygiene at the practice. At times we may need to space out the appointments to allow some extra time to thoroughly clean everything after each treatment. If there are any changes we will let you know. Stay healthy and stay safe.

15.01.2022 Look what we came across over the weekend! The EPA have introduced The Bin Trim program which is here to provide free help and support to NSW businesses to maximise their recycling and minimise their waste to landfill and may also help save time and money, while caring for the environment. Roughly 70% of the things in a business general waste bin can be reused or recycled. From cardboard, paper and plastic through to food waste so much of this ends up in the general waste ...bin, when it could be avoided, reused or recycled. Minimising the amount of waste you send to landfill isnt just good for the planet; its good for your business! 95% of businesses that have added a recycling service are diverting more waste and improving their productivity and efficiency. Are you ready to join them? Find your Bin Trim assessor or contact the EPA on 131 555 or email [email protected] to register your interest.

14.01.2022 With your body constantly changing during pregnancy.. it is only normal to experience some changes and discomfort. Your hormones fluctuate each trimester for a variety of reasons. The centre of gravity is shifting and with the increase of weight from bump its only natural to get discomfort from time to time. One of the other factors to take into consideration is that pregnancy also comes with a list of things you cant do to relieve discomfort such as taking ibuprofen and ...a wide variety of medications. So what are things that can help with this type of pesky pain that keeps you up in the middle of the night? Make sure you are still exercising regularly- a pregnancy Aquanatal class is great on the joints, gets things moving without battling gravity. Make sure you have enough magnesium in your system- this will help with cramping and muscle function. Have regular checks with our team- as your body changes so will your biomechanics, some simple treatment might be all it takes to get you back on track. Check your ergonomics- are you sitting in chairs that are too low and not supporting your low back? Consider investing in a pregnancy pillow- this will help keep your pelvis neutral from all the side lying when you sleep and will help take pressure off your hips, groin and back. A variety of products can also be found through our website. If any of these tips have sparked some interest, you can contact us at the clinic on 9597 7959.
