11.01.2022 Mansfield Hotel After coming back from a day trip up to Mt.Buller in July 2017, I decided to stop into this hotel. I had no idea if they had live music at all but I still decided to awkwardly ask if they have DJs. ... I was greeted by Barry (an absolute legend) who was the venue manager at the time and didnt even blink an eye when he heard my request. What dates are you available? With no prior knowledge of the fact that Id just bought all my equipment and started a few months ago, I was penciled in. Since locking in that first gig in August, the hotel has been my longest ongoing gig to date and Ive met some fantastic people through the venue that always make the 3 hour drive worth it every time. As soon as you put yourself out of your comfort zone and make the effort where other people wont, you will find opportunities that present themselves. Couple this with crushing that Its not worth my time mentality, it will be easier to excel past those that dont want to go the extra kilometres.

04.01.2022 March 2017: My first ever club gig at Room 680 for MyPlace Tuesdays. This was after I had spent multiple nights driving to Hawthorn, on my own or with a mate. Being told not tonight mate but we will try to get you on next week.... When this moment finally came, I was absolutely shitting myself and I really should have worn my glasses. However, 10 of my closest mates came out to watch me scramble a horrendous set together and to this day, its an experience I still try to chase. To all DJs starting out, some of the best gigs you will ever play are a small group of your mates slapping the walls that you worked your ass off to get! Dont ask for gigs, you need to show a venue that youre worth their time and the opportunities will come

02.01.2022 To all valued clients that have booked or planned to book with us over the next few coming months: This is an extremely uncertain time for everyone and the effects have permeated a lot of different industries, especially now with the banning of non-essential gatherings over 100 people. So in light of this, myself and the team want to stress that our most important focus moving forward is your safety. ... Events booked in that would still like to go ahead within the governmental restrictions are absolutely fine and the team will provide the exact same experience it always does. We would also like to work with everyone wanting to reschedule their event to a later date during more stable times. We also completely understand that your event may not be able to go ahead at all and we would like to support you in any way we can.
