THE MURALS, THE CHALKWORK THE "EDGY" EXPOSED BRICK WALLS AND "RAW" FLOORBOARDS! COME HANG OUT! GRAB SOME LOCAL! SUPPORT DIY! THE BIG BANDS ARE SORTED ! HELP CREATE A PATH FOR THE UP AND COMERS, THE UNDERGROUND CREATIVES! FRIDAY WE WILL BE OPEN LATER TO HAVE A FEW CELEBRATION/COMMISERATION ALES SO DONT FORGET TO DROP IN THEN TOO! 23.01.2022 another Local talented human and one of the creative minds behind Tooth and Nail, Jake Holmes will have some of his work on show this coming friday also. 12.01.2022 It isn't just local, interstate musicians we stock in store, all the artwork on the walls here in Backwater is by local, DIY artists, and is all for sale too! So when you're in here and your heads buried in a vinyl bin, don't forget to look up, there might be something on the walls that takes your fancy! speaking of, two artists that share some wall space in Backwater have exhibitions this friday. check out "Clearly Labeled" at the Box factory, works by Belle and Gem! support local artists! <3 BW crew

08.01.2022 Our good friends Jake and Cass, both personal friends, and as a part of the wider Adelaide DIY community, have had to unfortunately bring to an end the Gallery Space of Tooth and Nail. its been an amazing few years of great exhibitions of local and interstate artists. thankfully the studio space remains and with more emphasis here stay tuned for lots of workshops, open days , and a whole heap of great art coming out of this creative hotspot! thanks guys for all the effort you've put in to this space and the Adelaide Art and DIY community! <3 BW
