17.01.2022 We had an extremely close call today with a well known predator... As we looked out the kitchen window towards the chickens free ranging I saw a pair of pointy fluffy ears amongst the flock. The second it kicked it that it was a fox, I ran out like a mad woman which scared what looked like juvenile fox away. Safe to say I called all the chookies back in to the run and secured them away early. WAY TO CLOSE FOR COMFORT ...
