13.01.2022 Coach Profile: Abhang Shingare I have been working for Melbourne Sports Institute since Feb 2016 and have been coaching volleyball for various primary schools and secondary schools. Some of the primary schools include St. Albans , Brunswick North Primary School and St. Judes Primary school while the list of secondary schools include Mount Scopus Memorial College , Emmanuel College , Overnewton Anglican Community College and Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS). The ye...ar levels of the students that I have been coaching, have been from year 5 to year 12, boys as well as girls. Two of my teams have made the EISM and SIS league finals I am looking forward to a big win. As a volleyball coach I believe in building students' muscular strength and endurance first before developing their skills in volleyball. It is very important because you cannot do a perfect dig , set or spike which are the important skills in volleyball unless you have a fit and strong body to support you. I pay personal attention to every student very intricately in order to work on his/her strengths and weaknesses to produce a high quality player. See more

13.01.2022 Yoga Instructor: Anuradha Dudeja I started learning yoga in school as part of school curriculum. In the early years my practice was confined to the physical postures only. As I grew older, I used the healing power of yoga to combat sinusitis and stress. And since then it has been a never ending and very satisfying journey on the path of yoga. The physical postures that people often confuse as ‘yoga’ are in fact a very miniscule part of yoga. And only the regular practice of the subtler aspects of yoga like conscious breathing and meditation enable us to unleash our real potential against all odds.
