25.01.2022 I would like to send out my heartfelt THANK YOU to Kirri Parkes from Backyard shearing---- who came to the farm today to watch all my girls and their babies whi...lst we attended my Mothers Funeral. There's not too many people who would willingly manually extract a lamb when needed-- and that is exactly what she was confronted with upon her arrival and our dash out the gate... Sincerely---- your mere presence saved lives today-- and for that I will be eternally grateful. Hugs and love to you dear lady..... Thank you for everything you did to keep the farm running as smooth as it could do.... Hugs and love to you and to yours. xoxox See more

04.01.2022 Don't forget to ask us about vaccinations for your sheep. Ultravac 5in1 is used to prevent the major clostridial diseases in cattle and sheep. For the prevention of enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease), tetanus, black disease, malignant oedema (blackleg-like disease) and blackleg in cattle and sheep including swelled head in rams. The first vaccination should be given at lamb marking or at 6 weeks of age for calves. A second dose should be given 4 to 6 weeks later. A boost...er dose given 12 months after the two basic doses of vaccine should confer lifelong immunity against blackleg and tetanus. However, further annual boosters are required to maintain immunity against black disease and malignant oedema. More regular doses may be required to maintain immunity against enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney). These are best given prior to seasonal challenge. See more
