25.01.2022 Introducing our newest addition to the business the 7 x 5 mower gardening trailer lol, the tool rack is my own making lol, this frees up the ute for other garden equipment now hahaha

24.01.2022 This little beauty was covered with over grown shrubs, ivy and blackberries for a few years until i started pruning all the rubbish away and looking after it, this is the second year that it has had abundance of flowers

23.01.2022 Hi all cape weed is making an appearance in our lawns now so you can either take the time to dig them out or if you dont want or have the time to do this then there is another option which is spraying it before it flowers then its too late. You can use a broadleaf spray which specifically kills broadleaf weeds like capeweed and dandelions and paspalum, these are kamba m and paspalum and clover killer which also kills capeweed not to mention a few others just ask your local garden center for advice or your gardener will steer you in the right direction lol

23.01.2022 Wishing all our clients a merry Christmas

22.01.2022 Dahlia tubers are in stock, so many beautiful varieties to select from, dont leave it too late as these are highly sought after and will clear off the racks very quickly. Open all this Footy Final Weekend

21.01.2022 Hi everyone well by now all the fruit trees and roses should have been all pruned and planted ( bare rooted trees) if not its abit too late because the roses would have new leaves and the fruit trees will be starting to flower i.e the cherry plums some early apricots the nectarines and peaches, so with that in mind you will have to start spraying the fruit trees for codling moth for apples, leaf curl for peaches and nectarines, brown rot and shot hole freckle for peaches,ne...ctarines and apricots, and spray fortnightly with success ultra for apples and for nectarines and peaches with liquid copper, lime sulpher for shot hole freckle and brown rot, as for roses use a allround spray that does rust, powdery mildew, and black spot, i would use 1 of the following but all do the same, rose spray from amgrow, rose shield by yates and also triforine also made by yates or if you feel you want to use and organic spray theres that too which is called beat a bug natural spray its ingredients is garlic, chilli and pyrethium, oh and dont forget wear a mask when spraying. Also its getting to that time of year when the lawns will be taking off so get on top of them now before they become uncontrollable just a final reminder if you happen to think about getting in a gardening services make sure you call in advance because spots will go fast because there are limited spaces but that can change in an instant cheers guys See more

07.01.2022 So now that i have a bigger trailer im able to take bigger loads of rubbish away be it green waste or household rubbish but with that dont expect the cost to be low because tip fees for household rubbish are based by weight now so 100 kilos is $10 and full trailer will be $40 or more plus my rate on top of that

04.01.2022 Whether youre planting new roses or have long-standing rosebushes in gardens or pots, Richgro Gardening products are specially formulated for all kinds of growing rose gardens.

03.01.2022 OK so after all your fruit trees have dropped their fruit its a good time now to give them a good prune this wont hurt because its best to do them now so that you can see where to take lower branches off and to thin tree too where branches over lap, also if you think its a great time to weed n feed your lawns well it is but only if you use the spray when its not above the temperature of 28c and when its not windy this was courtesy of information on back of weed n feed pack so its best to read the instructions before you go ahead with anything to do with sprays, also you can use a spike roller on lawns now so that when there is any chance of getting rain it will soak down and also it will aerate the soil to help the roots of the grass
