25.01.2022 Hey everybody! Im now up to date with quote from Friday until about 7pm today. The quoting system will go down early hours of the morning/later tonight as Im going to be doing some fine tuning. Im hoping that this doesnt effect anyone for too long. The interstate long haul is well on the way, the girls are going great and our newest member Kia has made life 10920201x less stressful for driver & admin. Shannon and Kia are doing an exceptional job and theres massive improv...ement in all aspects of this trip. We promised you guys we would grow & take in feedback, and we will keep this promise and hope we have met these expectations on the right path too! 15.01.2022 Today we hit 400 likes, I know it doesnt sound like much but for a small business that started right before COVID-19 got really crazy, thats an amazing achievement. I dont want to be to clich but either way its going that way. Theres a few of you that have supported us from the start and we truely appreciate you, and the newcomers that have been advocating for us, you do not go unnoticed. Your lovely reviews and feedback is beginning to truely pave us to offer a perfec...t service for you. In reflection to 400 likes, I will be off radar for Saturday well Im using it as an excuse for a much needed no phone night. Tomorrow Im going to the hairdresser for the first time in longer than you need to know, but Ill find time to get any quotes down. Come Monday, its all go, we will be organising the pick up of our car from Albury, and then further organising our QLD trip which is likely expanding down South, due to the influx of enquiries. As you guys know, we also have started marketing an awesome boutique harness, collar & lead range, alongside dog food, and different animal products. My name is Kia and I will be one of the drivers / admin support here at Bade Beast Bus, who will be on the trips making sure you all get updates of your beloved pets throughout the journey with us. ... This means during the trip, if you have any questions in regards to the ETA or any updates, I will be the person to get in contact with. The goal for me is to ensure effective communication from the Bade Beast Bus team to you throughout the trip, and to keep you all in the loop. I know it can be stressful especially when transporting a pet, and Im here to relieve that stress and make sure all your concerns are answered throughout the journey. 11.01.2022 Some fun shots of bigger horse kids learning to cope with scary objects / situations, rather than getting worried and fleeing (which is a natural horse instinct). Through games encouraging the horses natural curiosity, he or she learns to be braver. Most of these pictures I'm using a tarp as a tool for the lesson, they learn it's not scary under, on or above them.... There's one picture with me encouraging a youngun to touch the tractor tyre (didn't you know tractor tyres hide dragons in them?), everyone of this particular group of younguns said the tractor was a monster. (The picture before is a let's leave, I'm not going near that monster pose.) So. They were all encouraged to come up and have a real good look at it, after realising it wasn't frightening at all, it seemed like they'd look at me and say... "Really don't know why you were so scared of it". And, March on by with their new bravery award.

From the moment you ask for a quote theres likely a tired me behind a screen 50+ quotes deep working hard to get yours to you in an acceptable time frame. ... No, our prices have not increased due to covid, they are our prices. They cover our time, wear & tear on vehicles, crates & fuel. If we are lucky food . Not that most of us have time to eat. If other companies have increased, I understand the covid has made this even more exhausting, permits are time consuming & a hassle, border crossings, added safety measures & record keeping to crazy amounts. Planning a trip takes roughly three full time days, no thats not an exaggeration. AT ALL. Thats actually generous. Thats with one person juggling two kids that are pressing keys and touching screens. Theres a lot of maths, those whom know me personally will know, maths in the same sentence as Ayla is the recipe for disaster, tears, frustration & no logic. Not only that but then your invoices, your contracts & submitting somehow a estimate of a time to you. Working out every stop, every town, every km, every pick up, every drop off on a 10 day long trip is the recipe for insanity. Trust me. But something in me loves it. We all love this, thats why we do it, its a deeply satisfying job with animals... dream job? Yes. We are also faced with anxious and nervous animals, these animals take longer for stops, more encouragement and an extra dose of love. As I said its our job we love it, but we need to cover our time. Please next time you ask for a quote please ask yourself some questions. If this job something I need done and am I willing to pay for someone elses time doing it or should I do it myself? Am I going to patient during their transportation and an understanding human being? If I am unhappy with the quote am I going to use profanity and babble on about so and so who will do it for x amount? If I am unhappy can I say thank you for your time and move on to the next company and treat them fairly and with compassion? If you answered no to any of these, please rethink hitting that submit a quote request button and sit down and think about how hectic road travel is and the hardwork behind our service and on that note all pet transporters. Our promise to you is to always remain kind, even in when you use profanity toward me but this does not excuse this behaviour. 09.01.2022 The result of the biggest hugest tree branch falling at the perfect time to hit us at 100km/ph. All animals survived. Shannon Laurence-Bade is feeling worse for... wear & I’m currently in Canberra hospital about to go for CT scans. I was taken to a small country hospital and then sent to Canberra as they have better facilities for the tests I need. Car is a write off. I can’t say I will ever want to drive under a tree again let alone be in a car. Details Shannon - is sore, and not 100% still, sore hips, arm and feeling of cold inside. At Young NSW Me - I’m more stable than I was, and just finished my scans, I left in ambo as I have a head injury. Awaiting results for fractured veterbrae, hematoma on my head, broken rib(?), broken patella. At Canberra Hospital

Your dog needs to be up to date on vaccinations otherwise we will be refusing ANY animal whom is not, well wrongly informed we didnt have the authority to enforce this only ask, we in fact do. ... Please make sure your animal is up to date, had time to process and build immunity. We also will be asking that you wait for your puppy to be 12 weeks old, whilst not compulsory it will be throughly reccomended. Its worth the wait. Better late than never. Our contracts will now reflect this. Its yours and your Breeders responsibility. This protects your animal, others animals & us.

Some people seem to not realise how hard every aspect of this job is, the extra care we put into pets & the devotion we have to get your babies to you - but then you get massive reminders like this that you are appreciated . 04.01.2022 I have had the pleasure of Shannon working with my horses since 2013. She has an incredible ability to gain a horses confidence & build on that. She is patient... & calm, allowing a horse to work things out in their own time without pressure. Shannon gives horses as many experiences as possible - for my horses this has meant bush walks, standing on rocks, walking through tunnels, loading on trucks, loading on floats. Shannon has handled weanlings, through to educating under saddle. I have, & will continue, to highly recommend Shannon to anyone who needs help with their horses.
