16.01.2022 Dear Members, The Council has postponed the decision on which of the three applicants will operate the swim school at North Sydney Pool for the next three years to its meeting of 4th December. We are therefore unable to commence our re-enrolment process until the 5th if we are the successful tenderer. We apologise for the delay and will do our utmost to ensure a smooth transition. 13.01.2022 Council restrictions are still preventing the Swim School from re-opening. Oct-Nov may still be possible if Council adopt the current NSW govt restrictions, but they appear deaf to public feedback.

07.01.2022 From Mr. Badger- Our lack of updates has been my fault and proof that I'm much better at coaching swimmers than using a social media site - simply put we forgot to make me an administrator. Now that the error has been corrected I can inform you of what is occurring with the Swim School. We have been ready to resume lessons and squads since late May but North Sydney Council's refusal to open the indoor pool, coupled with the 3/lane restriction in the outdoor pool (despite the ...NSW COVID-19 restriction being 20 per group) prevents us from doing so. All approaches to the Mayor and majority of Councilors about the Swim School have been to no avail, including the online petition many of you signed that garnered more numbers than the one that forced the Council to open the outdoor pool. Councilors Beregi, Carr and Baker are having another try to open the Swim School at the Council meeting next Monday night. Emails of support can be sent to the Council - just ensure that they're sent to all Councilors; emails to the Mayor that don't agree her point of view tend not to be fully distributed. See more

02.01.2022 The Badger Swim School operations at North Sydney Pool will officially close on 24/11/2020. Continued restrictions by Council will prevent us from conducting any programming between now and then despite NSW Govt guidelines permitting swim schools. We are currently exploring options for relocation but at this time there is nothing available. We wish all of our patrons the best for the future.
