25.01.2022 Another proud breeder post to congratulate Von and Milo (Badlands Fyrecharm) on tackling the Range Carriage Club Inc.'s bending, flag, barrels, keyhole and novelty events to come second overall for the day. Milo has really taken to the fast events and has toned up considerably, we can no longer call him the fat boy!

24.01.2022 Very sad to see that Sultan has ended up for sale on Les Evans Horses - All Breeds All Types page, as we thought he was still living locally and would have welcomed him home with open arms if we knew his owner could no longer keep him. He is now six hours away, making it more difficult for us to do this, so I share in the hopes someone can buy him and offer him the forever home he deserves. I am confident he will find a good home, but if he doesn't, we will find a way to get him back home. It has been several years since he left our farm, however his IMHR and ICHR registrations are still in my name, so I can transfer these to his buyer and am happy to answer any questions regarding his history pre-2017. Although I do not know what he has been doing the past few years. More photos (of him in show condition etc) are on our albums page.

13.01.2022 We have welcomed our first foal for 2020, a silver filly by Badlands Panic In Detroit, out of maiden mare Badlands Desert Belle. Badlands Miss Morocco (aka Cindy) is pictured here at three days old.

12.01.2022 Congratulations once again to Von and Milo (Badlands Fyrecharm) on their recent driving achievements in Queensland, with the fat boy knocking over 15km and passing vet check with flying colours to come 2nd in the small pony section of their comp. This duo give everything 110% and we are proud to be Milo's breeder and Von's friend.

12.01.2022 With the lack of shows on during 2020, I entered SHS Mahrouss (Rockee) into the YAWBA Online Show recently, where our beautiful boy went on to win Supreme Pony Breed. I thought he deserved a photo with his sash, so here he is in all his dusty paddock glory (he is running with mares) but still beautiful. One day we will get to a real show together!

11.01.2022 We've been a little quiet lately. Nothing to report since there's no shows in what is usually our busiest time of year with at least a dozen shows over the Aug to Dec period :'( And a late start to our foaling season, still 75 days til our first mares are due. 11.01.2022 Little miss Badlands Betty Munroe has been sold and leaves us this week for her new home on the NSW south coast. We have no doubt that this little fire cracker will bring lots of joy to her new family.

10.01.2022 Well 2020 was almost a write off for shows, but after a nine month break we managed to get one horse off to the IMHR NSW Christmas Extravaganza Show on 5th December. Badlands Riff Raff Reserve Champion Small Horse Jnr Colt 2nd Small Horse Colt Yearling... 2nd Classic Head Jnr Male Small Horse 3rd Best Presented Small Horse 3rd Classic Trot Jnr Small Horse This was Raffy's very first show and I am ever so grateful for friends who helped get him to the show and exhibit him (Sunrise Park Miniatures and Meambie Minis) and making the first experience a good one for him. Also, a shout out to Amberling Stud for snapping these photos.

07.01.2022 Our thoughts go out to our friends at Spellbound Miniatures on the loss of Pixieland Peppers Painted Perfection. "Rebel" was a three-quarter brother to our own Jabiru Salt N Pepper, who we lost last year at the same age. They had many similarities, so we always felt a strong connection to Rebel and followed the successes of his progeny. Rebel himself was an MHAA Hall Of Fame horse with many grand champion, supreme and high point wins in halter and performance. The Miniature industry has lost a legend.

01.01.2022 For a bit of fun during the coronavirus lockdown, we entered five horses into the 2020 IMHR Online Show and are pleased with the results, considering there were 190 exhibits, making for some massive classes.
