19.01.2022 Hello everyone. For the past 38 years during the month of August the Bagdad Music Hall cast and crew have put on a show to entertain our audience. While Covid1...9 has put a stop to that this year, the cast and crew are determined to still take to the stage for 2020 with a delayed show. We are still currently working out how it will look and will need to confirm dates. In the meantime, we are putting a call out to any Bagdad locals who would like to take part, or any previous cast members who would like to return. A meeting will be held at the Bagdad Community Club on Sunday, 26 July at 4pm for cast and crew to discuss moving forward. Hope to see you there.
18.01.2022 Bagdad Cricket Club Junior Program 2020/21 We have had some interested in having an underage side this season as well as Cricket Blast for the younger boys and ...girls. We are asking for expressions of interest for the following sides: HJL U/15 Boys Competition (played on Sundays) HJL U/15 Girls Competition (played on Tuesday Evenings) The seasons will run from late October till early March. Modified rules, The U15 boys play with 9 players (7 Minimum) whilst the girls play with 7 (5 Minimum) Cricket Blast (formerly Milo Cricket) This will be happening for sure, most likely Sunday mornings. More details to follow shortly.

16.01.2022 Unfortunately, its with great disappointment that we announce that the Bagdad Music Hall will not be pushing forward with a show for 2020. The decision was not... made lightly, with our cast and crew meeting often to work out how we could proceed. The current Covid19 restrictions has hindered our little show, especially regarding the limited number of audience members. Never fear, we promise that over the next 12 months we are going to work hard and be back better than ever in the year 2021, with maybe more nights. In the meantime, please support our local Bagdad Community Club anyway you can. Each year the funds raised from the Bagdad Music Hall goes towards helping and supporting the club, so without the funds this year, our club will rely on your support. Please think of the club for any functions you are holding, join them for bingo night or just head down for a drink or two with your mates. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
15.01.2022 The Bagdad Online Access Centre is needing a few things done and we would like to use and support local businesses where possible. (spiders, ants, mice etc.)... Please contact us if you can help and we can book you in to come do a quote and hopefully get started.

Representatives from the three tiers of Government who provided funding towards this exciting project were all on hand to see work start. Senator Claire Chandler, representing the Australian Government ($2 million contribution); Minister Jane Howlett, representing the Tasmanian Government ($2 million contribution); Alli McShane, representing the former Station Child Care Centre ($80,000 contribution) and Southern Midlands’ Mayor Alex Green.
