25.01.2022 FOX SPORTS CHRISTMAS PARTY - URGENT BAGGY PLEASE The crew at FoxSports left it a little late when they called us the day before their Christmas party asking us urgently for a baggy cap ... with embroidery to get to Sydney ... next day. Well we like a challenge even as unlikely as this and 24 hours later the Fox Sports crew had their embroidered baggy on hand for their Christmas Party. Nice photo guys & we were happy to help .... but please a little more notice next time

24.01.2022 WACA ASHES PERTH TEST MATCH All we say again here at BaggyCaps.com here in Perth is "Long Live Test Match cricket" Day 1 at the WACA was spent mostly watching the English take our Aussie bowling all around the ground ... but like all good cricket the balance of the match is back even again after a good day for Aus on Day 2. Was good to see our former Prime Minister still enjoying Test Match cricket along with Jeanette ... DOH that we forgot to take some baggies to give to Mr & Mrs Howard .. now that would have been some photo ! Also great to see a bouncy and reasonably fast WACA wicket for the last Ashes Test match ever at the WACA. Fantastic Test Match Cricket and the 3rd Test now in the balance .... lets hope the rain stays away long enough on Day 4 and 5

17.01.2022 WACA Ashes Test & Best Baggies Ever A few weeks ago we were asked to supply some caps for the Loose Cannons CC a Dubai based cricket club with lots of English ex pats who were heading to Perth for the WACA Ashes Test Match. Happy to report we got them made in time and even happier to hear that the Loose Cannons stated our baggies were the 'Best' baggies and caps they had ever seen at the club. Where is the most unusual place we have ever sent our Baggy Caps we hear all of our 1s of followers ask .... ? You name a country and we have probably sent headwear there. Perhaps tho one of the better stories was an uber urgent request from a film props company who were part of shooting a major Hollywood film in the Himalayas and we had to get the...m some of our blank caps immediately which we did in approx only 4 days from ordering. We couldn't wait to see our baggies in a major Hollywood movie ! The funniest thing was that we later examined every single frame of that movie pausing it frame by frame and we could never see ANY sign of our baggy caps. Thats OK though as our baggies have been in numerous TV shows and other movies ... not to mention TV commercials like the very cool Optus one EVERYONE saw over and over last year. 07.01.2022 Another Ashes series in England passes.... and another Ashes lost to the Poms on their home soil. In Baggy Caps opinion, it was an opportunity lost for this Australian team to be the first to win a series in England for some time and is perhaps a timely reminder to all that TEST Match cricket is indeed appropriately named TEST Match cricket. Can we suggest that every future Australian Ashes touring team study Terry Aldermans bowling in 1989 and that our batsmen understand tha...t making a gritty ugly grinding never give your wicket away 50 or a 60 on a green deck is often way more valuable then scoring a majestic ton on a flat track. Ryan Harris a huge loss for Aus cricket ... great to see Bucky make run at the end of his career and Pup would have been good to keep the Ashes but well done on winning the World Cup - an achievement that ranks up there in world cricket. 01.01.2022 Night Test Match in Adelaide ... in our opinion an outstanding success. There are definitely pros and cons to it but when you have 100k plus people turn out to watch the match over only 3 days ... well then I am sorry as ... we the people have spoken. Probably one of the worst ever DRS decisions took the shine and focus off the Test itself which was a shame ... and it also in all probability cost NZ 50 or 60 runs and thus probably a Test Match win. Great to see the series played in good spirit and looking forward to the return series in NZ. Long Live Test Match Cricket !
