23.01.2022 Almost done from last weekends excursion with the HCMC Round 2 last week (Sunday) at Collie. https://bagrphotography.smugmug.com//Histori/Before-Lunch/ Apart from me having, 'car-trouble', which I left the track early over, I felt it was a good day (photographically for me) and a good run day as well. (oil spill being overlooked) :\... Thank again for Terina and the HCMC for having me down. Here are a selection from the pre-lunch session. After lunch is yet to come :) Personal note: This car-trouble was fixed by my family bringing a spare set down to the track (from Rocky). As embarrassing as that was, I was incredibly happy to show my family some of what I do and chuffed to introduce my youngest to one of my loves - motorbikes.

21.01.2022 With less than a week till a much modified Targa South-West roars into Pemberton, three crowd-pleasers will be in attendance - the 'Mighty 'Murican Muscle Mustang Machines' of Paul Crute and Paul Gusterson in the '65 Ford Mustang, joined by Kim Stewart and Frank Zanotti, in a 1965 Ford Mustang GT350. Both vehicles are proudly supported by Frank's Classic Garage Racing Team. Not to be outdone, and sliding out the rear-end at every opportunity (basically most of the time), i...s the now familiar pairing of Chris Caruso and Alex Butler. They ride in the Wyldcat Racing '08 Dodge Viper ACR, supported by Mantic Clutches. With a car festooned with cameras, if you see a loose go-pro, battered and distressed, please check in with the Wyldcat Racing Team - one may have fallen off. Again. Good luck to the competitors, support folks, 'togs, et al, and have fun down at Targa South-West 2020.

19.01.2022 Images starting to appear here: https://bagrphotography.smugmug.com///Forest-Rally-Sunday/ Sunday 13th September found me on the road heading south to Harvey under pre-dawn skys. While on the freeway, listening to Eurobeat to get into the mood (as you do, and to stay awake ;)), one of the tracks that cropped up was "My Only Star", perfectly timed, I thought, as I was heading 'towards' the Southern Cross, low on the horizon.... The Southern Cross, symbol of both my native and adoptive countries, to an event that was still going ahead while COVID19 was hammering other parts of Australia and NZ (the NZ rally was cancelled. Blast. All of us were lucky to attend, with truckloads of effort being put in by RallyWest/TargaWest folks, teams to meet deadlines, crews to source 'team-mates', international motorsport folks stuck (if I can use that word) in WA while waiting for borders and workplaces to become accessible, hordes of volunteers from across the state, and Collie townsfolk who were dealing with two! motorsport events on the day. Thanks for letting me attend, catch up with mates and make new ones. I hope that my images are as good to you as they are to me.

More Baker's Hill - https://bagrphotography.smugmug.com//Bakers-Hill-Rallyspri Getting into the home straight now. 2 more to go. :D And, if I may be bold to say, some damned fine images in this folder, (and more in my HDD). :)... Right, now to continue listening to Aqua and continue with the selections. :D (was that TMI? )

15.01.2022 Sudden Downpour hits Collie - locals shocked and amused. Yesterday a very localised downpour hit the centre of Collie, Western Australia. A local, Mr Tallott, comments- "It was incredibly surprising to see such a short fall - it usually last for hours. It was amusing that it was a grape-based downfall this time - I was hoping for a hops-based product instead.... Local laundrettes were gearing up in preparation of the cleanup. AKA - the podium of Forest Rally 2WD class celebrates by upending their bottles over Max. I rather suspect he was expecting that.

13.01.2022 And now I am sitting in Collie Maccas heading home after being rescued. Note to all- don't drop your car keys in the boot and close the boot. My wife and in laws are awesome

12.01.2022 Amusing to see the stats- Service Park images from Baker's Hill are currently far more popular for people to look through than the other Baker's Hill stages I posted at near the same time :) Right.. almost time for Shakedown again? O_o

10.01.2022 Owing to (frustrating) circumstances, I am only now really able to start finishing up Baker's Hill. Two more folders are up on mywebsite www.bagrphotography.smugmug.com - including some of my best of the event (in my opinion that is :D ) I think even competing with the aerial-antics as captured by Chris. :) Not that I am referring to another WA photographer.. heavens no. ;) Thank you kindly for those who have enquired about images - I look forward to assisting you again. ... Obviously, one or two more images to come. ;) I was at Harvey approach and unload, SS2 just before FF, Wellington 1, (Spectator area) and then Brook 2 instruction 5. 09.01.2022 Camera bag set. Banana pikelets being cooked. water bottles ready for filling. (lots of water- lots of driving) Memory cards formatted Batteries charged and packed... ID and vest packed. sunscreen packed. What else for the Rally tomorrow.. Fuel filled. Hmmm

06.01.2022 Wow. What a roller-coaster day. Thanks Terina for having me at Collie, for Round 2 of the Interclub Championship today. Once again pushing techniques - a lot of which worked! Now to get the success rate higher. ... Here is a small selection of some of the images that will appear in due time. Sadly I had to depart early owing to a bit of silliness of myself - but it turned pleasant with a full family visit to the track :D (including a very impressed little girl :D) For those of you who want images- please PM me and I will see what I can do about getting a jump to the front of the queue. (rolls eyes.. at sad joke :P ) Happy resting and fixing (both bike and body in a few instances >_< )
