If your partners for Ho Sin Su...l can make it then they are also welcome. Training is from 8:30-11:00am and I hope to be covering at least Patterns, Knife Defence, Self Defence, breaking, one steps and your Ho Sin Sul routines. Look forward to seeing you there. 13.01.2022 Instructing is something that not all Black Belts have the desire to do. Of those that want to instruct, most will experience the satisfaction of seeing a stude...nt comprehend and subsequently benefit from a bit of information that you have passed on. Of those that have seen students benefit from their instruction, some will identify with that beautiful moment a student expresses their heart felt thanks for helping them understand the 'why' or 'how' something is done. The lucky few instructors will experience the humbling experience of having the class plan and present a gift that is born from the values and ethics that you yourself practice and teach them. I have had the good fortune to find myself in that very position a few times now and each time it is such a humbling experience. The reason we teach is because we have a desire to help others. Getting recognition is not the goal of an instructor. Seeing the values and life skills you promote reflected in your students behaviour is the ultimate reward and those are the most memorable moments. To the students, parents and supporters of the Ipswich and Rosewood clubs, I am truly grateful to have the privilege of knowing and teaching you. Thank you for your gift, it means so much on so many levels.

08.01.2022 We have some exciting news!!! Training is recommencing in Rosewood starting next Tuesday 09/06. Same place but with a different start time. Class will now run from 6-7.30pm! To comply with the return to sport Covid19 conditions thd following things MUST be followed to minimise risk of infection creating a "2nd wave": 1. Please use the signed Entry & Exit doors upon arrival and departure. 2. Students and Instructors only inside of the hall excluding toilet breaks for pare...nts and siblings. 3. Sanitise hands everytime we go on or off the floor. 4. Supply your own drink bottles - there will be no access to the kitchen! 5. Maintain social distancing rules - this includes the storage of training bags. Keep all bags off tables. We know there are a lot of restrictions but we need to comply with these guidelines so we can operate. If you have any questions please contact us. We look forward to getting back into the Dojang. 04.01.2022 This years "Adopt a Family Appeal" collection has been delivered to the drop off point ready for distribution, 13 packages in total plus numerous vouchers. Than...k you to those from the Ipswich and Rosewood clubs who contributed to putting this donation together. COVID has hit certain sectors of the community hard. Unfortunately for some, the struggle to have the most basic of needs is a daily one that is endured week after week, year after year. Your donations will help lift that burden over this Christmas & New Year period for the chosen recipient family. The appeal organisers were extremely grateful for your efforts, as will be the family who receives it. We learn about Moral Culture being part of our development in the "Do" (Way of living), we strive to be better members of society, helping build a better community. So yet again this year, Mrs Broom and I would like to sincerely thank you all for your generousity in helping others ... so very proud. 01.01.2022 Great Bai Rui tournament Saturday and very proud of all those who came and participated as competitors, officials or as spectators. Very busy and successful day for the Lockyer Valley clubs. Pleasing to see Rosewood students having success in several disciplines. Attached are some snapshots I managed to take on the day. Thank you all for your efforts, once again we worked as a team to not only support each other, but to support the school and our fellow clubs. Tomorrow night we will take a group photo (all who participated) to post in the days to come, so if students can bring their medals to training it would be greatly appreciated.
