24.01.2022 Little Adrian the Mini Dachshund today working on his fear of people. This is a set up of behavioural adjustment training me being the trigger. With the photos you can see the progress we made during the session using behavioural adjustment training. This is all through force free and giving our animals a choice. By giving them a choice we are allowing them to build there confidence up.

24.01.2022 I met the awesome Millie 3 weeks ago. Our goal is get Millie confident enough to jump in the car. When I first met her, I saw when she saw the car she was making a bee line to get far away from the car! Then today we had a dog who had fun jumping in the car for a duration then jumping out, then within seconds she jumped back in without being asked! How awesome is that!!! It means Millie now can go for more adventures!!!!

23.01.2022 We are over the moon to launch a new Training Program. Growly to Waggy What is this program Our Growly to Waggy program is designed for dogs who are reactive to other dogs on leash. Using force free techniques we create confidence in dogs around other dogs resulting in limiting there reactiveness on leash. The technique is called Behavioural Adjustment Training. ... Its no lie I am so excited to be offering this class now, it is my favourite type of training and its what first got myself interested in Dog Training. From this type of training I saw large improvement in a Family Dog. We have been running these types of sessions as privates for a number of years and have got results. We have now ran a couple group session and are happy to launch the program. The program will involve two private sessions then four group sessions. See below a review from one of previous students. When my dog started to show signs of reactivity towards other dogs at 10 months old, I turned to Tanya at Bail Paw Pet Services for help. Her knowledge, support, guidance and hands on approach is second to none. Tanya has proved that she will go above and beyond to make sure you get results. With Tanyas guidance, I now have the techniques and confidence to manage Otiss reactivity. And best of all, she proves that this can all be done through positive behaviour training. Tanya has made mine and my dogs life a much happier one. We will be posting some pictures and videos over the next couple of days of the classes. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested for more information.

22.01.2022 Leo Leo we have been working with his issues of Separation Anxiety, and the fear of being around people and dogs. Leo is much better now with his separation anxiety and being around people. We are continually working on building his confidence around other dogs. Leo is a member of our Growly to Waggy program. Leo hit an ultimate goal on Tuesday night in the group session when another human participant thought Leo must be a mutual dog because how calm he was! We are so proud of you Leo, it’s incredible to see you keep becoming more and more confident dog!

20.01.2022 We have made a really tough decision to no longer offer our Pet Sitting Services. We are going to continue to focus on our Training Services we offer and of course our Dog Walking services will continue. We have absolutely loved looking after everyones pets over the last 5 years now and it hurts to no longer look after them, however with our busy schedule this is the best thing to do. If you are looking for a Pet Sitter we are happy to refer on to other sitters in the area that we 100% trust. I just want to say a massive thank you to all of our clients over the years who have trusted us looking after there pets, here are some photos of our pet sitting friends we have made.

12.01.2022 Little Radar today did so well! Radar has been having issues walking on leash, in face he just never want to walk on the leash. Today we just changed the leash used from a 1.5m leash to a 5m leash and we had a completely different dog, 5m you say? Doesn’t he just run far ahead? No he stayed with us the entire time. This backs up an amazing study done by Dog Field Study which I’ll be sharing some of their videos in the near future.

03.01.2022 DOG MYTHS BUSTED This one has to die. Harnesses do not cause pulling. ... They also do not let dogs "get away" with pulling because as anyone knows who has EVER walked a dog in a collar (flat, choke or otherwise) they would have seen a dog continue to pull until their breath is raspy and they gag, choke or wretch (they arent called CHOKE chains for nothing people!) I have even had clients tell me about their dogs actually passing out when being walked on slip leads or choke chains because they pulled so much regardless of the discomfort or corrections given. Yes, sled dogs pull sleds in harnesses, but these are not same harnesses we use for domestic pet dog training. The construction is completely different. Those harnesses are designed for pulling, but even when you put a dog in one you still have to TEACH them how to pull. The fact of the matter is this: harnesses provide comfortable gear for your dog to learn in. Not all harnesses are great either, so you need to be choosey. I use, recommend and fit Perfect Fit Harness as they tick all the boxes of a gold standard harness. What should you look for in a great harness: Forelimbs exposed for free movement Modular, 5 Point adjustment for a personalised fit No pressure on the neck Comfortable fleece lining (which also can prevent sliding) 2 D rings at front and back Doesnt need to go over the head to be put on Quick on and off, minimal fuss. Machine washable Escape proof Get in touch if you are in my local area and would like a personalised fitting (Isle of Wight) otherwise you can find your local stocklist here: www.dog-games-shop.co.uk/stockists
