25.01.2022 The Farmer’s Carry A Super Beneficial Yet Widely Underused Exercise. They look so unassuming, yet have so many benefits. The Farmer's carry activates nearly every muscle group. The core braces and stabilizes the entire body. Grip strength in the hands, wrists and forearms is a necessity. The upper back works to keep the shoulders and chest from sagging. The legs obviously propel the walk, and the cardiovascular system is engaged throughout the entirety of the movement. As a result, your entire body is put to work burning fat and creating lean muscle stores. Give it a go in you’re next workout.

24.01.2022 Keeping at least a few exercises consistent in you’re routine is extremely important to track progress. No matter how cool the many different variations your online fitness inspiration shows you... progressively overloading the same exercises week to week for an extended period of time is how you are going to grow and get stronger. I’m not saying don’t try new things and have fun with your workouts, but you definitely don’t want to be switching up the exercises every single week. I usually recommend throwing in one new exercise in your workouts week to week to keep things interesting so you don’t get bored in the gym.

19.01.2022 Really committed to getting deep into your bottom position on your lifts? Sitting at a desk all day at work? Or maybe just have an interest in increasing hip flexibility. The Cossack squat is a good movement to spend some time learning properly and including in your dynamic and static stretches. The Cossack squat is kind of like a half squat, one leg goes down into a full squat while the other stays stretched out with the toes pointing upward.

19.01.2022 The sled pull is a true functional exercise that really exhausts the upper body, focusing on the back, shoulder and biceps, whilst developing a crushing grip. This exercise involves pulling a heavy, weighted sled toward you, that's tied to a rope. If you don't have a plate loading fitness sled or even better, a prowler you can fashion your own using an old tire, or loaded pallet. The amount of friction you get from the exercise will greatly differ between your sled and surfac...e combo choices. How you train with the sled should depend on your fitness goals. Loading the sled with a minimum amount of weight and training for longer distances will help build endurance and cardiovascular capacity, where as using heavy weights over shorter bursts will develop strength and power skills. When you're proficient with the sled and pulling weights that are approaching your own bodyweight, why not start training for the rope climb. This supreme upper body exercise puts you well on your way to bodyweight mastery.

15.01.2022 The overhead lunge is a weighted variation of the basic lunges that uses nearly every muscle group in your body. By holding weights above your head, you build upper- and lower-body strength, increase the power and propulsion of your legs, and also improve core strength. This exercise targets multiple muscle groups as you drive the weight up through the foot, knees, hips, core, and shoulders, and then forcefully unload it by driving down into a lunge position. The overhead lunge is a great way to challenge your balance as you shift your focus from one leg to the next. Give it a shot in you’re next workout and Gradually build up in weight and find a comfortable working weight for 20 meters.

06.01.2022 One variation of the common squat is a pause squat. Pause squats have several benefits that make them as good as, or superior to, regular squats. In pause squats an athlete comes to a complete stop at the bottom of the movement then explodes out of the hole. This builds explosive strength and takes some of the stress off of the knee caused by the sudden stretch reflex action of a regular squat. Give it a shot in you’re next leg workout
