17.01.2022 Here is something I talk about a bit. Head to head differences and its why we like to build our intakes straight off the customers heads as well as labeling them L & R. This is a CNC head ford 220 AFR with the same head plate on each head. Look at the port difference. So even with the CNCD heads their is variations and its why we dont like building intakes off a file or drawing as the bolt holes and the windows can vary up to 0.060" this one is only 0.020" but thats really not good enough.

16.01.2022 Nice 15 degree SBC going together with billet runners. We are still customising the runner profiles to the customers engine specs. We are also using variable wall thickness to allow less shrinkage and material room if plenum CSA needs additional area.



16.01.2022 Big block chevy intake that went out this week to another engine shop in Melbourne. This is another one of our custom intakes that we build based off the engine specifications that its for. Comp, cam, rpm are just a few factors that we use, which effect the runner length, CSA and plenum volume.

15.01.2022 This is why when we port a race head for a customer and they are running a decent billet intake. We try to get the intake bottom half as well. Port centerlines are never perfect, so you will always need to move things around. The reason this is so important is the port walls are an extension of a port. They need to work as one if you want to increase your VEs. So this area of transition is very important not only at a CSA factor, but the angle of the port wall must transition on the same line of the runner seamlessly. You cannot achieve this off a template, or measurements, nor can you probe local velocity gradients which will show what area needs work.

08.01.2022 Always good to hear how our products are going on the other side of the world. Here is another one of our cam and intake packages that we do. With All of our Intakes we design, we have to run wave analysis on the combo. This means we have to analyze the VE curve, cylinder pressure and basic filling characteristics of the engine. So cam timing, lift and even header lengths all effect final outcome. So to help our customers see more HP per boost as well as more area under t...he lope, And something that generally tunes a lot easier. We offer not only the best specs for exhaust lengths and steps. but fulling optimized cam specs so they can order a cam through their favorite cam manufacture. Or we can even supply a custom cam if needed. This little combo is Johns Pro-charged windsor from NJ in the US. Its an 8.2 deck 347ci and first pull went 1000+hp at the wheels. Hopefully see some video soon.

08.01.2022 Custom ford Windsor intake all finished up and cleaned. O-ring top plate, burst panel and direct port. Like all of our intakes these are all custom built, velocity targeted to our customers engine specifications. This allows us to build an intake that will actually help VEs and contrary to popular belief actually improve HP to PSI ratios.( less boost more power) As boost isnt "forced" in. Rather its a measurement of restriction.

07.01.2022 Getting there!! Ryans new 1400hp power plant. Billet PRP girdle, Nitto 3.25 crank and rods, 3/4 filled block nitto pump. ATI, PRP triggers and the list goes on. This also runs one of our Bain Racing cylinders heads with our custom high ramp and lift cams on a full shimless setup. So we are just doing final clearance checks and doing a P to V chart before head goes on for good and its ready for the dyno.

05.01.2022 All done! 13 degree sbc intake with our custom billet runners designed around the engines specs. This one we have also incorporated our mid point burst panel for superior BF control. Should go 900+ plus hp. Thats before a few hundred of that giggle gas!

03.01.2022 Here is another Elite series torana tank, this one is off to Tasmania and its in a natural finish. These are our 5 compartment tanks with encapsulated areas with 1/2 -10 internal pickups and a -8 return for superior head pressure control over old school dead head type setups. Return is directed into main pickup area to help with low fuel level pressure control. So no idle pressure rise issues, no pressure drop problems under acceleration and definitely no hot fuel or vapor lock issues that can be common place with a dead head regulator.

Before we start building these, each and every customer fills our our 2 page spec sheet so we can analyse the setup and design an intake that will work in the range that our customers have specified This one is designed to be done by 6500rpm.
