We have had some close games so far with toby defeating Steph in 2 close sets Matt squeaking through against lockie and and epic battle between Lawson and Tanika where Tanika clinched the win in a tiebreaker decider... lets keep the matches going When playing your match just remember what Rod Laver said The next point- thats all that matters

Bairnsdale vs Sale 2nd Semi Hayfield vs Maffra. 1st Semi. ... All starts at 1 o'clock. If you are free come down and watch the Tennis. Get behind Steph Barnett, Keryn Scott, Amber Daniel Stormon, Tom Dellar and Toby Radford looking to go straight though to Grand Final next week at Maffra.

20.01.2022 Today was last round of Wellington Gippsland Tennis Association before heading into the Christmas Break. In very windy conditions at Sale and Maffra. At Maffra Section 1 had a big battle to shack of Maffra .The team was able to come away with a 4 game win and stay undeafted so far.... At Sale Section 2 played Sale KFC. The shot of the day went to Paul Martin .Running back to the Fence the only shot Paul had was between the legs and he pull it off. Paul had a Great Day winning all he's 3Sets. But team was unable to come away with a win. Section 1 Bairnsdale d Maffra 5sets 4 Sets 54 games 51 games. Section 2 Bairnsdale lt Sale KFC. 4Sets 5 Sets 51 games 64 games.

14.01.2022 Hello Everyone, Unfortunately due to the new restrictions we will not be able to run group session after wednesday. Its upsetting that this pandemic has once again interfered with our ability to keep coming together and improving our tennis skills. However, I will do my best to help everyone keep hitting balls and enjoying the sport. The new guidelines mean that only two people plus a coach can be on a court at a time, so I can offer individual and semi-private (2 students...) lessons to those who are keen to keep weekly lessons happening. 13.01.2022 Today we held the 1st matches of the challenge ladder.. The matches were Toby Radford vs Gavin McCoy, for top of the leader board. Amber Archer vs Jordan Johnston, and Andy Bills vs Jordan Johnston. Gavin won 6-3 and Jordan won 6-0 against Amber... not sure of the final match score, but Jordan got up. Was a great day and great to see tennis still going on during these strange times!!

We had such a great turn out and I cant wait to see you all put your newly learnt skills to work at our tournament tomorrow! 04.01.2022 What a Great Day of Tennis. Bairnsdale have made it though to next week's Grand Final at Maffra. In what was a close Semi against Sale Bairnsdale were able to have a 6 game victory. Bairnsdale will play at Winner out of Sale vs Maffra which is played at Maffra tomorrow arvo.

01.01.2022 Results from Today's Wellington Gippsland Tennis Association . Section1 played Stafford and continued on there winning way not dropping a set. With 3 sets to play Section 2 match was locked at 3sets all and Bairnsdale up by 1 game. Bairnsdale were able to win 2 out of the last 3 sets but went down by 1 game ... Both Teams are home again on December 5th. So we look at having some Christmas Drinks and Food(Covid provided). Be Great to see members down at the courts and see both teams in action.
