24.01.2022 Not that anyone really thought this was likely to happen, VCTA confirm that the 2020 state DTL Carnival is cancelled.

23.01.2022 Reminder to all that wish to come out to the club on Saturdays, you must book yourself in with Bling. Numbers and spots are very limited, get in early to avoid missing out. 23.01.2022 The wiring and control box installation for the new trap was completed earlier this week, and my goodness is it neat. Many thanks to Allan Brown for sorting this out for us, just one of many electrical jobs that Allan has completed at the club over the years. If you need some electrical work done be sure to keep Allan in mind. Thanks heaps Browny!

22.01.2022 With stage 3 restrictions in place for the next 6 weeks, the club has cancelled all scheduled competitions. Fortunately the club can still practice, though this is limited to 10 on the grounds with a maximum of 2 on a layout. This is only available to Bairnsdale CTC members at this stage. Booking is essential so that numbers do not exceed limits, please contact Les on 0429 405 824

08.01.2022 The Beretta Australia Bushfire Relief shoot, raising funds for Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund, was held at Bairnsdale CTC yesterday in near perfect sunny conditions. Seventy-one shooters competed for just over $3000 in trophies kindly donated by Corsivia and Cartuchos TRUST. Stewart Gillman Internationale, Bairnsdale Field & Game, VCTA - Victorian Clay Target Association and MCMS also made contributions to support the event, Thank you. Perhaps most importantly we need to tha...nk all the shooters for getting behind this worthy cause, with your support $4000 was raised for GERF. 07.01.2022 Results from the Budge handicap shoot today at Bairnsdale today. Well done Bobbie and Greg, taking 1st and 3rd respectively. Also a great result for the club in the teams event, now a single point behind the Wonthaggi Clay Target Club - WGC crew. Double barrel championship results will be posted separately.

07.01.2022 Bairnsdale 400 this coming weekend has been postponed till later in the year, date yet to be confirmed. This 200 skeet doubles event has been held in March at Bairnsdale for many years, something the committee was very reluctant to postpone. Rest assured we will endeavour to run it as soon as the current conditions improve. At this stage Aprils DTL shoot on the 4th will be going ahead, though this will be reviewed on 27th March. 06.01.2022 A Boxing Day well spent at the club, new DTL wireless microphones connected and tested working correctly. Thank you Stephen, Frank and Adam for putting them together and testing them out. Looking forward to our first shoot of 2021 this coming Saturday.

05.01.2022 This Sunday 1st March is our Bushfire Relief shoot, all nominations paid will be given to Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund. It would not be possible to donate 100% of nominations without the generous support of Beretta Australia, Corsivia, Cartuchos TRUST, Gillman Stewart Internationale, VCTA - Victorian Clay Target Association, My Club My Score and all the competitors.

05.01.2022 Bling and Frank headed down to Frankston Australian Clay Target Club for the skeet competition last Sunday. The boys decided to enter the Duke of Gloucester Cup as an extra event to the skeet. This proved fruitful as Frank found himself in a 3-way shoot off after hitting 28/30 in terrible conditions. After a challenging shoot off, Frank secured 2nd place in the handicap event. The boys also had a successful day on the skeet, making the trip worthwhile. Would have been tricky getting cup in the car anyway....

02.01.2022 The Budge Shield has been abandoned for 2020, a easy decision in a very difficult climate. Many thanks to Wendy from Stewart Gillman Internationale and Lorenzo from Beretta Australia, their continued support of Budge had been fantastic. Looking forward to a great year for the Budge in 2021.
