22.01.2022 Now could be the perfect time to do your first freedom run! This is where you can run any parkrun course on any day, at any time! All you have to do is then log into your parkrun online account, go to my links and then load the details from there. Easy! So while we can't get together for our usual parkrun, make sure you are still look after yourselves. Exercise is a great remedy to reduce stress and worry that can be experienced at times like these

08.01.2022 Ok parkrunners, the time has come...! (non)parkrun is here Its becoming apparent though the decisions made yesterday, that we wont be back, as we know it, any time in the immediate future.... A few weeks ago, parkrun announced its (non)parkrun platform, where we can all run, at our own time throughout the week, and log our times. These dont count towards 'official' parkrun milestones, however this is a briliant opportunity to create some friendly competition (and our own iso milestones) with our neighbours. Inverloch are off to a cracking start! 14 participants so far for this weeks figures . Bairnsdale, Lakes, Sale and Traralgon, we are all on the board, but are well behind the ever high bar setting crew in inverloch..! So lets set our own milestones, and some friendly competition, by the days end of each week (sunday), we will check the numbers and encourage you all to get out there and bring our team home! We are certain our Bairnsdale crew can beat 14! The weekends not over yet team. Get outside, and record your (non)parkrun. Event directors will be encouraging you along each weekend with motivation and figures to get us over the line. Best part...Send us a pm with your (non)parkrun photo and we will post it in the weeks report, just like usual ! Remember , you can log you 5k run anytime from mon- sunday. 03.01.2022 A little humour as our neighbours return to their standard Saturday morning ritual this morning! Have you logged your (non)parkrun yet?!

03.01.2022 As Saturdays roll by, we are still waiting patiently for the day we recieve the email to say Victoria can return to parkrun..! Dont worry, the minute we know about it you will too!! In the mean time, we just spotted this awesome ugly Christmas running top. None of us know the chances of wearing it an offical event..but grab one for your non-parkrun adventures!... Stay tuned Bairnsdale, and keep up the great work of being patient and safe. Looking forward to the day we get back to the standard parkrun Saturday..we are all missing it!
