It begun last weekend when Rosedale chucked us on there schedule for a non points round so what better of an opportunity to let Ma...lcolm (dillons dad) back behind the wheel since he gave it up when Dillon begun racing at 16, he had a blast and the car come home straight Last night Dillon had his first run of the season in his new Sprintcar for round 1 of the VSA series. HEAT RESULTS Heat 1- started 4th finished 3rd Heat 2- started 3rd finished 2nd Those results then managed to squeeze him into a spot in the top 6 shootout. He gave it a hard and fast crack and timed the second quickest putting himself into position two in the final missing out on pole position by .02 of a second. Absolutely stoked to find ourself on the front row for the final amongst an 18 car field finishing up in second position, congratulations to Shane and the SS wholesaler team on the win Thank you to Bairnsdale Speedway on a fast and smooth running night. Thank you to Mal, Braiden, and Ray for all the help preparing the car and getting it on the track. But my biggest thank you goes to my sponsors it isn’t possible without you all.
