25.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BAIRNSDALE RELAY FOR LIFE Given the devastating circumstances currently facing Bairnsdale and surrounding areas, the Relay For Life Committee and Cancer Council have made the joint decision to cancel this year’s event. The safety and wellbeing of your community is always the most important consideration for us.... Bairnsdale’s Relay For Life is always a wonderful event which sees incredible support from the community. We are looking forward to working alongside the Committee to organise another fantastic event for 2021. All funds raised and registration fees from the 2020 Relay For Life will also roll over to next year’s event. In the meantime, Cancer Council will do all it can to support Bairnsdale and the surrounding area. Our 13 11 20 information and support line is available for those affected by cancer who are feeling overwhelmed or who need to access services like peer support or free wigs. From everyone at Cancer Council Victoria, our best wishes go out to all those impacted by the fires. All those in the Bairnsdale community and surrounding areas remain in our thoughts, and we will continue to support you however we can during this devastating time and beyond. Please see our website for more information and contact details if you have any further questions or concerns. https://secure.fundraising.cancer.org.au/site/TR

Health workers are doing everything possible to make care safe, so if you have any symptoms, don’t delay talking to a doctor: https://bit.ly/2Q2WDZJ #DontDelayGetChecked
